Episode 26: Words of Power

Finale

As the merkadis reached its final and purest form upon consuming the white phantom, Arthur and the group were reunited with their army, as well as Talieshin and the dragon tribe. Arawn then revealed that the merkadis could have reached this form only with the help of Lector, the white phantom, allowing us to speculate that perhaps the merkadis is not directed by its own will, nor by the final orders of Lector. This also shows possibility that it did not consumed Lector but it only allowed the white phantom to access its inner areas and give the phantom full control of its actions.

During this time, the merkadis emerged from its shell. With the white tower fully integrated into its body, the earth's atmosphere was easily polluted. As it released a powerful blast of electrum, its energy is powerful enough to reach Avalon and strong enough to destroy an entire mountain, leaving it to ashes and untraceable oblivion. This same blast caused chaos that separated our heroes once more from the main group, leaving them to fend for themselves. This caused Arthur to suggest a retreat and redeployment of their forces. However, Ogam countered that it is of no use since the merkadis is already charging its electrum cannon, only waiting to release it in all direction. Thus it would be useless to retreat since it can reach them wherever they are.

Furthermore, Ogam suggests a way to defeat it after Talieshin decreed that they will have to defeat the enemy in order to survive. The ancient half dragon told them about Words of Power. It is a special chant only found in the holy scriptures meant to rouse the merkadis. Its intent is to control the merkadis' power once it has been chanted. This caused the group to question who could chant it. When Ogam revealed that only Riannon could chant it, it was revealed that Riannon inherited both the name of the first human and Pwyll's magical elven powers enabling her to become a candidate as the savior, as was talked before in Ogam's vision while they are trying the break the obelisk.

Hearing this, Arthur immediately asked his sister to do the chant. But Riannon explained that she can't since she can't remember. As the merkadis prepare to release another blast of electrum, Arawn decided to wait for Riannon and protect her while she tries to remember the Words of Power. Inviting the reluctant Arthur, both of them tried to block the incoming beam of electrum.

As expected, Arawn immediately dropped to his knees just by being touched by a wind brought by the electrum beam. The rest of the group were worried as it is revealed earlier that the merkadis has taken Arawn's life millenia ago thus it is also possible that he could die this very instance. However, their losing faith is immediately restored when Arthur told them to have faith since Arawn is their demon king, thus they should place their trust on both of them.

With faith restored, they have enough time to be aware of the incoming tentacle sprouted from the Merkadis. After Arawn slashed it into two with Etlym, the group prepared for their final battle. Quickly mounting the black dragons, Arawn and Arthur went straight for the merkadis while Ogam led the others to draw away the merkadis' attack from Riannon. However, they were disappointed to see the wounds they inflicted on the merkadis easily regenerated right before their very eyes.

Still unaware of the charging of electrum, Arawn himself managed to block the entirety of the beam entirely by himself, causing his body to absorb much of the electrum. Thus the demon king fell to the ground. Fortunately enough, Riannon managed to cast "Carpe Diem" that acted out as a cushion preventing Arawn to die from the impact. However, she would sooner find out that it is not yet a merrymaking time sine her healing magic cannot heal the wounds inflicted by the electrum cannon.

Riannon's melodramatic act was interrupted by Arthur's forceful voice. Telling Arawn to stand up, the demon king managed to open his eyes. Seeing a replica of Pwyll in front of him, the vision of the realization of Annuwyn grew ever more intense giving him more strength allowing him to get back on his feet. Upon doing so, he gave Riannon his faith telling her that she should believe in herself.

Upon hearing this, she was granted a vision- a vision of herself in a peaceful world, reunited with everybody else. It is also in this vision that she finally found the. Primula then showed up congratulating her for casting away her fears and believing in herself. After their encounter, she was immediately returned to reality where she was saved by Morgan from the merkadis.

Managing to get back on her feet, she went straight away for the merkadis, holding her resolve to protect everyone. A bright yellow light surrounded her acting out as a barrier against the merkadis' attack. She has felt the lightening and the harmony of the sea, the land, and all the living things. And just as the merkadis was about to give a strong blow, her true form emerged and the words of power was reborn.

A white glow emerged as a white beam appeared. Then as she performed a chant, the light became even more intense;

Non est ad astra
Mollis e terris
via...
Nutritur Vento
Vento restinguitris ignis
DONA NOBIS PACEM!

Then the white light struck! And the merkadis' shell broke revealing Lector in its remains, exposed, vulnerable and frail, desperately fighting to get away. The white phantom tried to deflect their attack, his cries unheard by his god, Vatos. But it was of no use. As Arawn and Arthur advanced, a stab was performed! BAM! Arthur did the final blow and the white phantom was no more. The final boundary that connects heaven and earth has finally vanished! A new era opens!

Once this has happened, peace has returned and Earth bathed in eternal glory. As the crescent moon of new beginnings glowed upon the land, Arthur and Arawn spent the night together as they chatted about how wonderfully peaceful it is.

It was in this moment that Pwyll appeared, replacing Arthur, and chatted to Arawn. It is then revealed that Pwyll is residing in Arthur all along. The elf king praised Arthur for his growth but told Arawn to continue leading the young man on to his destiny. Then he presented the elf crown and told Arawn to pass on the title of Pendragon- the name given to every king of the elves. After that, he disappeared and Arthur returned to his place, with no idea of what has just occured between Arawn and Arthur. Arawn then invited Arthur to take a rest, leaving the direct descendant and heir to Albion still unaware to the presences of Pwyll.

The next day took place the coronation of Pendragon Arthur. The ceremony is officiated by Arawn and Ogam, the recognized higher-ups within the kingdom.

"He who with valor and kindness recovered the world once more.. May the stars of twilight guide you forever more" - Upon giving him praises, Ogam finally rested the elven crown on Arthur's head, proclaiming him, their new pendragon!

After the ceremony, they celebrated together, ready to welcome the coming of Annuwyn, the perfect paradise.

Epilogue

And so peace has returned and from Myrddin's aspirations and hope, a new light was kindled, a new hope was revealed and a new kingdom was born. Everyone continued living their lives in a sense that there is a beautiful thing to look forward in the future. As they continued their lives, and as though the world has seemingly returned to normal, it cannot be denied that something has changed.

Ermin finally ended her book. As the adventures of the demon king came to an end, the book that she drew ended with a statement of how the great king (Lucifer/Arawn) and little king (Regius/Pwyll/Arthur) joined forces to build a new kingdom.

While Octavia continued her sword lessons with Conur and Elyr, she managed to evade Morgan's requests for hunting. Life is starting to return to normal. While Epona and Talieshin were reunited, their happiness couldn't have been better as they have a newly adopted son- the baby dragon, a sort of fulfillment to the prophecy "being food for frightening beasts" or rather "an errand boy" as Ogam jokingly referred to Talieshin baby sitting the dragon. Though it's not much, they looked very much like a family. With Epona being the house wife, Talieshin her beloved prince and the baby dragon, their precious bejewelled son.

Meanwhile, Rathty was finished with her session in crafting a new coin, Llyr came crashing in, complaining how the cow tricked her again. It appears that after all that has happened, Llyr has not been able to change from her clumsy, unlucky old self.

And Lastly, Etlym was finally returned to its original position. Arawn was reunited with Riannon and Arthur vowed together with Arawn to pursue the world of Annuwyn and fight side by side.

"A land were dragons fly, giants stomp, elves sing and men laugh. To the kings who have not slept for the yet unfulfilled world of Annuwyn, we offered peace here in Caer Myrddin. As long as the seas expand and the land stretches forth. I hope to see you again and fight with you side by side"

Note: And so, our story ended. A little bit fast paced, but with the right combination of drama, action, and romance, an epic story was born. Forming twists from popular legends, Tears to Tiara was reborn from a hit RPG game. But no matter what, its characters, scenes and themes shall forever leave a special spot in our hearts that taught us lessons as we learned to love its characters bit by bit. Friends, we have witnessed the end of a great anime. Yet no matter what, it has not fallen to forgotness. Our work has just begun. Follow me, as I explore, dig deeper and formulate new ideas and let us witness to true arrival of Annuwyn! (let us now turn to fanfiction writing and theory speculations. Hahaha)

May Vatos be with us all and may the remnants of the 12 phantoms disappear forever. May the eternal land of Annuwyn shine upon us! DONA NOBIS PACEM!

Episode 25: Merkadis | A Tears to Tiara Episode Summary brought by reychop

As Arthur and the group discovered the dead corpse and seemingly mistake it for the final enemy, a voice interrupted them and stopped them in their tracks. The voice introduced the body as the holy emperor of the holy empire. The said heika is an avid pursuer of immortality and due to that desire, he was consumed by death. The owner of the voice came from a young man, barely older than Arthur. The said man shines in pure white and has a confident, carefree smile on his face.

If you remember, this same man appeared in the massacre of the senate members, the one who introduced himself as the emperor's gardener and summoned a great scourging fire which devoured the senators one by one.

This young man is now telling the group how foolish it is for the old man to fear ageing, and that believing ancient prophecies and silly astrology is what led him to his death. Furthermore, he added that the tower that they were standing on is merely a part in the heika's quest for immortality.

Riannon then asked who he is. And in an almost mocking manner, he responded that he is merely a nobody, a caretaker of this place.

Episode 25: Merkadis

Outside the tower, the Gaels await their leaders return. And although they want to come to their aid, not any of their scouts could find the entrance beyond the mazes of the white tower.

Back at the top of the tower, Ogam told of the rumor upon hearing the gardener's tale. He told the group that there used to be an oracle whom the emperor held in high esteem. The emperor's trust and respect quickly gained way for him to rise and earn a special seat in the senate council.

Octavia then added that this Astrologer from Chaldea is known as Vector the Astrologer.

Knowing that Ogam is blowing his cover subtlely, the gardener revealed his true identity by mentioning Arawn's real name- Lucifer. Thus it was concluded easily that he is the white phantom. Upon hearing that the one standing behind them is the true white phantom, Arthur tensed up, about to draw his sword. But past lessons has taught him something. And instead of wishing for blind revenge and irrational vangeance, he demanded to know instead why the phantom killed his father.

The phantom instead smiled and answered him that his father refused to cooperate in revealing the hidden location of Arawn's grave, which was guarded by the lineage with which Arthur's father belonged to. His father was murdered because due to his refusal, the phantoms weren't able to reach the traitor, Arawn, in time allowing him to ressurrect, contrary to their plans of putting him to sleep forever.

Furthermore, the phantom admitted that he tampered with Arthur's memories a little. And the warrior has showed his uselessness when he failed to kill Arawn in their past encounter.

This angered Arthur. But at the same time gave him a realization. He realized that this place is all but illusion. And as he calls out to Dyrnwyn, he slammed the ground with great force and as Dyrnwyn's powers were unleashed, he unmasked the impurities that surrounded the place.

The place no longer shows the peaceful and beautiful sky garden but a wasteland. Dead skeletons littered the ground and harsh atmosphere replaced the serene ambience. This struck a chord within Ogam and asked the phantom how much atrocities must they do before their bloodlust is satisfied. In turn, the phantom reminded him that he is the one who pledged his allegiance to them in the first place.

Having no answer to this, the white phantom continued and told them of his plans for this world. He told them that he will destroy and recreate the world just as they intended. But Arawn cannot allow this, stating that he would protect this world, instead. Upon the demon king's declaration that they would destroy their tower, a blast was heard and a hole, a break in the boundary between the heaven and earth, appears.

Once the hole materialized, a lightning was emitted from it and the skeletons were animated. The phantom then laughed and told them of the ideal world he deemed as "perfect". He declared that the only perfect and pure world lies in the white ashes of these humans. Indeed, a world that shall be burnt and as it turn to ash shall it meet a silent repose. As it does so, a perfect balance is achieved and a perfect, spotless world is created.

Arawn disagrees and so does Arthur. They will not allow their world to be destroyed just like this. Thus their battle for survival begins.

The skeletons advanced and although they lack in skills and endurance, their number makes up for their weaknesses. The white phantom challenged them, stating that they couldn't lay even a finger on him. And as he did so, the light intensified, causing a massive earthquake and startling the Gaels outside.

Back in Avalon, the remaining elves found ways in calming themselves down. By reading the book that she drew about the adventures of Arawn, they managed to see the battle in a tiny light. But the most ironic thing is, although her artistic skills are rather dull, she has managed to replicate the entire event in her story.

Meanwhile, the enemies fell one by one as Arawn and Arthur fought side by side. At this time, Ogam was briefly reminded of Arawn and Pwyll's battle. As the battle rages on, the group then determined to attack the white phantom and put him as their top priority target. One by one, they gave their best shot. But it was futile. The white phantom is either more agile or simply stronger than the rest of them.

However, Arthur is not contented. May it be for vengeance, or for survival, he simply cannot give up. Thus with extreme resiliency, he struck the phantom again and again, irritating him.

Arawn explained to him that these people that he is facing is different from the army that he commands. To answer his question, these beings cannot give up for they have their own ambitions, and their own freedom.

But the phantom retaliated by saying that they simply forget to acknowledge their own heplessness. His rather lengthy and discriminating speech annoyed Arthur, causing him to attack with renewed strength. And this time, his sword struck...

The white phantom paused... A look of horror and disbelief ruined his confident look as he stared at the drops of blood from his face. Impossible! He is a white phantom- the absolute beings, superior to all and perfect beyond imagination. And a simple inferior human drew blood from him? He cannot believe it... Trapped in his own nightmare, he was driven insane.

But not for long. A huge fire enveloped the environment as the tower shook. And for the white phantom, all is not lost. He laughs as he declared the coming of the "Great Fire of Purification".

And at this same time, a giant machinery emerged from the area. And gigantic as it was, the merkadis is dubbed as the "ultimate destructive weapon", powerful enough to raze villages in seconds. Not to mention it is the one who killed Arawn, being a weapon that utilizes the element, electrum, which Arawn is weak to.

The phantom, in his desperate attempt to rectify his "imperfection" stood in front of the machine and beg it to purify him. "Cast this deformed world to oblivion!!!" As it receives its first order, it breathed fire out to the phantom and consumed him. Once it does so, the obelisks on its back glowed and then.... they broke to tiny pieces.

As Ogam revealed, the Obelisks served as limiters to the power fo the merkadis. And since it was broken, the merkadis' full power is released, preventing him from predicting what will happen next.

With sheer power, it transformed itself to accommodate the newly freed power inside. The tower collapsed and the ground beneath Arawn's group fell, causing them all to fall into the hole. But they were saved, thankfully, by none other than Talieshin! Yep, the boy is alive! And thanks to his newfound family, the dragon tribe, they have a new ally in battle.

And once the chaos subsides, they were to feast their eyes on probably the most destructive and most powerful weapon of all time- the merkadis, in its purest and final form! Reunited under such a strange and chaotic circumstance, will they survive, or will they fall? Watch with me! And tune in for more! As Riannon and Arthur's fight against Drwc continues, their foe's strength continues to increase, driven by the demonic energy from Gravitas. Drwc threatened them once more, but Arthur charged at him, damaging him in the arm. He anticipated Riannon to be harmed as well, but to his surprised he couldn't. The Gael's successor merely replied at him with a "You could never again rule over my soul", causing the battle to reach a new dimension.

Episode 24: Gravitas

- Octavia and Morgan's fight continues, seemingly without an end. On the top, Creon laughs as his entertainment heightened its level.

- On the other hand, Llyr and Rathty fought for the Cauldron's destruction, facing two enemies at once. One is the guard and the other one is Gravitas' effects.

- Meanwhile, Arawn and Ogam reached the top of the Obelisk, still deciding on what to do to destroy the massive source of Gravitas.

- Back in Riannon and Arthur's battle, Drwc is bombarding them with a never ending stream of fireball. Yet, they counter it with a strange yet effective combo. First, Riannon would cast a strong barrier powerful to withstand Drwc's attack, then Arthur would stand behind her and as an opportunity arise, attack Drwc with Dyrnwyn.

- Ogam and Arawn has decided their first step on Obelisk's destruction. Ogam casts a spell called "Baraq" but it has no effect as a gem of protection protected the obelisk. In fact, their attack caused the obelisk to expell Gravitas in a faster rate, causing even more pain and discomfort to all their magic-using companions.

- Riannon and Arthur's situation becomes tight as well. Upon detection that Gravitas has increased, Drwc casted "Protection of the Sprites", sending electrocuting lightning at Arthur, destracting the siblings from the fight.

- The elves are not faring well either. As Gravitas' strength increased, their powers started to wane causing them to have major disadvantage against their enemy, who were summoned at an alarming rate by the cauldron of rebirth.

- Though Morgan and Octavia has finished their battle, and Creon has lost his remaining confidence, the increased rate of Gravitas' flow, the mayor revived his fallen warriors, increasing their level of strength and speed as well as their appearance, creating an all new and improved round for our female Gael warriors.

- Meanwhile, Arawn saw Ogam's delimma and has decided to take matters into his own hands. However, Ogam stopped him from using his holy magic as he reminded him that he still has a fight waiting for him.

- Back in Riannon and Arthur's fight, Drwc has trapped Arthur with his spell, "Mors Certa" and revealed to him that he has been summoned by someone. As Arthur demands to see this person, he told the young man that he would, right after he has killed him. To save her brother, Riannon ran in front and prepared a spell glyph. Drwc merely laughed, stating that her magical defense is no match against his power. However, as he released the final spell, it ran in front of the glyph but switched its destination to him, striking at him and piercing his heart.

It was at this time that he discovered that the spell is not a magical barriar at all, but a teleportation spell. Angered at this, he called for more power, not ready to give up. And indeed, the obelisk responded and increased its rate of expelling Gravitas. The obelisk continued to light up and as it intensified, a vision appears.

- "At last, the gates to the ideal world, Annuwyn, are opened", Pwyll exclaimed. Yet Arawn reminded him that they still have a lot of foe to deal with as well as the fearsome and infamous merkadis. Though they have found a way, it has many requirements. First of all, one must be able to use the ancient language of Latin as well as his ability to use top elven magic. Not only that, but he must also be unattached to the heavens and is filled with purity.

Pwyll is disappointed to hear this, but before sorrow and hopelessness could seep through, they heard Primula recalling her previous lessons, distracting them from their serious discussion.

"D - O - N - A - B - K" This is the first lesson that she was recalling at that time, but when Arawn asked her what lesson that was, she told them it is about "Dona Nobis Pacem", Latin for "Give us peace". This incident led her to tell about Ogam's habits of doing "childish" things when they're having their lessons, such as blowing fire out of his mouth and making words out of melting sugar. This caused the group to share a good laugh, forgetting their problems momentarily.

- As the vision ended, it sent an inspiration to Ogam and an idea implanted itself to him. He transformed himself to a gigantic dragon, and spew forth what he described as "The Fire Of Origin". Arawn tried to stop him as this spell can kill him, but the ancient dragon told him not to worry. He won't die until he sees the world of Annuwyn for real.

- Meanwhile, Arthur fought the now transformed Drwc. And after figuring out that it is afraid of the Dyrnwyn, he was filled with newfound confidence. This caused Dyrnwyn to glow, and resulting in Etlym's response. Together, they resonated, filling the entire tower with their encouraging power. And as everyone fought, they discovered that their strength was restored causing them to achieve their missions. Llyr and Rathty destroyed the Cauldron, Morgan and Octavia killed the horde of dark army and Creon, Arthur and Riannon defeated their great adversary, Drwc and Arawn and Ogam reached the top of the tower.

After their great victory, everyone was reunited at the top, causing the tower to be filled with laughter and joy. They reunited in a beautiful celestial garden. Yet the place is filled with sorrow. As they went on to investigate, they found a throne in its middle and on it, Arthur discovered the corpse.

Without uttering the question, a voice interrupted them, introducing to them the dead holy emperor of the holy empire. If you look closely, the white phantom comes from right around the corner, amongst the flower and is laughing to himself, seemingly emitting an aura of confidence and elegance.

The battle is not over yet.

Trivia: If you look closely during Ogam's transformation to his dragon form, you'll notice that he ripped his clothes off. But when he met up with everyone in the top, his clothes are pretty much intact. Is this the effect of magic? XD

Episode 23 : Palladium | A Tears to Tiara Episode Summary brought by reychop

As war rages, the dark army and the alliance of humans and elves clashed in a catastrophic battle... Gee, it makes me remember about my experiences in Warcraft 3 Campaigns. But anyway, it is true. The dark army clashed against the alliance, with the good side winning. Under the leadership of the demon king himself, the Gaels and their allies has massacred all the enemy.

On the other hand, Arthur and his band who were sent on a mission to retrieve Dyrnwyn arrives, disappointed to find the battlefield empty, arriving only to dead bodies and already finished battle.

Arawn congratulated Arthur for arriving and thanked his actions which bore them the fruit of Etlym's strengthening and the enlisting of Dyrnwyn's aid. As they talked, the gates leading to the inside compound of the white tower fell, destroyed by their newfound allies- the giants. But even though they have defeated the dark army, their journey has just begun.

Episode 23: Palladium

After the gates fell, they immediately walked ever so cautiously to the entrance, as if they were expecting an ambush and a series of defensive countermeasures. But to their dismay, they were met with a silent, unresponsive ground and a brilliant yet still white tower.

"A tower that ascends to the heavens" As Arthur describes it. Yet their problem is soon forgotten as a new one is found. The gate is protected by a barrier, activated through the gems that decorated its surface. This was demonstrated when one of their gigantic soldier was easily blown away by the gate's defensive measure. Arawn saw through the group's worries and told Arthur to raise his sword.

Arthur sent him a questioning look. The demon king enlightened him with the sword's history and its main function- to grant freedom. Once he has finished listening to the explanation, he stepped forward and raised Dyrnwyn in front of the massive gate.

"Dyrnwyn, give me strength. Open the gates to the truth!", with his courageous voice filled with loyalty for his teammates, the sword granted his call for help and glowed blue. The gems on the gate responded by sending out a red glow, opening the gate and granting them passage to the white tower.

Once the gate opens, the group went inside and was immediately greeted by intense heat. Arawn explained to them that this place used to be a furnace intended for the burning of human life force. From this furnace came the necroms and the golems.

They continued their journey until they reached a gigantic crystalline object, which was introduced as the "Obelisk", an object so powerful that if activated, could erase their very existence from the surface. Fearing for its activation, the group left the place and continued their exploration. However, as they reached a small clearing, the magma from below started to reached out to the surface forming what looks like a flood.

The group feared for their survival. But as if an answer to their prayers, they were all teleported to an unknown destination before the flood of fire could harm them. Sadly though, this event did not come without disadvantages. The teleportation spell is used to separate them into three different party. The first party is consist of Arthur, Arawn, Ogam and Riannon. The second paired Octavia and Morgan together, while the last decreed Llyr and Rathty to journey together,

Back in the first group, Riannon grew worried for their other companions and tried to convinced everyone to go search for them. However, Arawn enlightened her that it would be too much of a trouble to go search for them and will only expend their energy not to mention their time. Furthermore, Arthur added that he know that the others will make it to the top and that he trust them to hold out on their own.

Understanding the situation, Riannon accepted it and they continued their adventure once more.

The second party landed in a narrow hallway, immediately attacked by a lightning spell cast by, probably, the tower's defense mechanism. Fortunately, they escaped this by entering a rather spacious room. As they entered the dark area, they were greeted by an almost familiar laugh, with the voice greeting them, informing them how he waited for them.

The owner of the said voice finally made his appearance and was identified by Octavia as, Creon, Londinium's Mayor. The other responded how nice it is of her to remember him. Thus he summoned the light and revealed the area as a Colisseum. As he told them of this, golems and dark forces appeared, giving them no other choice but to fight for survival.

And finally, we came to our last group. Llyr and Rathty found themselves in a similar starting point. But this time, they evaded a group of golems and found themselves in a room which houses the Cauldron of Rebirth or the Urn of Ressurrection. They had a bit of emotional retellings of their history before they decided to destroy the Cauldron for their honor as well as for vengeance of their desecraded ancestors.

Meanwhile, Arawn and his party came upon a huge area housing a simple altar. In its center though lies a familiar foe, their first antagonist- high priest Drwc. The nearly rotting priest mocked them, and laughed at them. Arawn angered the priest by calling him "Avaricious". But their enemy merely laughed at them and threatened them by his knowledge of Riannon's true name. However, Riannon merely replied that she is not afraid.

Arthur then challenged him to a duel which only tickled Drwc even further, declaring that he could not be killed by anyone. Before anyone could react, Riannon complained of a dark presence, which was immediately recognized by Arawn. Hastily, he ordered Ogam to stop him, but it is too late, Drwc has already activated the Obelisk, releasing Gravitas, God's Gravity, among them, causing considerable damage and pain to those who possess magic.

But amidst their seemingly hopeless situation, Ogam found a way to stop Drwc. He commented that by destroying the tip of the obelisk, they could stop the flow of Gravitas into their world. To do this, they must split up. Arthur told him that they should go, as this is his and Riannon's battle. Reluctantly, Arawn left, stating that he will not say goodbye or farewell.

Once the two men has left, Arthur positioned himself to attack Drwc but before he could land a blow, Drwc has already uttered the deadly curse. "I order upon your true name to take my body's pain and infliction". This order caused Riannon to faint as Arthur has already attacked Drwc with Dyrnwyn. Seeing seeing his sister faint is enough to temporarily stop the battle as Arthur rushed to his sister's aid.

On the other hand, Riannon was sent back to her own realm and there, he met her true self- "Primula". After Primula encouraged her, she regained back her consciousness, ready to join her brother once more in a redeeming match.

The Gaelic generals and main officials as well as the major characters, were all assembled in their meeting room, within the high walls of Avalon. Strangely enough, Arthur was not present, while his absence was later explained by Riannon who told Arawn that her brother is out to see Talieshin.

In this strategy room, they discuss their next action. Accordingly, Arawn told them that they will have to split their forces into two. With the first one going to Palladium and the other group is to retrieve a valuable weapon that could benefit them in the war.

Rathty commented that it could be Dyrnwyn, Lord Pwyll's sword, the counterpart of Etlym. And indeed, Arawn confirmed that it was.

As the meeting draws to a close, the massive doors were slammed open and revealed Arthur, who told them that he wants to go, since he wants to know the truth.

Arawn replied that the truth may hurt, however Arthur once again amazes him as he replied that it is better to bear the pain than suffer defeat due to ignorance.

Satisfied with his reply, Arawn smiled and changed their plans. He told them that he and Ogam will proceed to Palladium, while Riannon and Arthur shall go to Gorsedd Arawn, or Arawn's throne and retrieve Dyrnwyn. It was revealed by Ogam in the past episodes that it is here that everyone shall find the truth.

Thus with great enthusiasm, they all embarked on their journey, with Arawn reminding them to meet together in Palladium.

Episode 22: Dyrnwyn

The gates of Avalon opened to let a band of horseriders pass. In a small group, Arthur, Riannon, Morgan, Octavia and Rathty traveled to Gorsedd Arawn, and indeed, they reached the place at such a short time. With the place marked with Monuments and ruins, it is not that hard to find it. As they so the landmark, they dismounted their horses and came upon the center, where a sword embedded on a stone is surrounded by white pillars.

They formed a small formation, while Arthur proceeded to the sword's location. Staring at it briefly, he stared at the beautiful blue sword. It radiated faint power, yet its magnificence lays tainted with dusts, moss and other impurities.

Taking a deep breath, he proceeded to grab the hilt, making his first attempt at the sword's retrieval. However, just as his hands touched it, a huge force emanated from the sword, causing it to glow a golden hue. But that's not all. Just as the warm light coursed through his body, he saw a glimpse of a vision. Yet the suddenness of it caused him to release the sword vanishing the vision.

Gaining more confidence, he once again made the second attempt. And this time, he hold on to it as a golden light filled the place once more.

Just as he closed his eyes, a vision appeared- a vision where everything began.

Following Lucifer's defection from the 12 phantoms, the age of the elves took over, just as I predicted. These elves resided in a majestic fortress called- Avalon. However, it appears that their glory did not last as a series of misfortune threatens their very existence.

A contamination of gravitas is threatening them and their attempts to stop it has been ineffective. Gathered in their forests, the elves begged Pwyll, their king, to do something or else they'll perish if Gravitas enter their atmosphere.

Their king, ever loyal to the 12 phantoms merely told them to rest easy and trust. Instead, he offered them to pray to Vatos for safety. This is exactly what his people did. They prayed continuously to Vatos- their one and absolute god, reaffirming their servitude to the god over and over in vain hopes of safety.

However, Pwyll know it in his heart that it is useless, for the contract with the heavens have long been broken. Deciding to take a walk, he come upon a clearing, and there, he was about to contemplate on their situation when a soft rustling from a nearby bush was heard.

Before even managing to react, a young girl popped out, revealing Primula. The elf took pity on the human child- humans who could do nothing but praise, pray and worship the phantoms- so he decided to approach her.

However, his advances were stopped, as a new character appeared. "Arawn of Annuwyn", he introduced himself. Their conversations continued, until Pwyll told him that if he had to, he would take away the child by force. Arawn agreed and gave "Dyrnwyn" to him, saying that it has the power to kill a god. Thus Pwyll struck an agreement and agreed to take the sword, should he allow him to take the child.

As it was settled and Pwyll was dragging the child away, Arawn asked him what he's planning to do with the child, he replied that he'll take her to Avalon. Arawn merely told him that Avalon is not an organized government but a "trap" considering its powerful weapons and defenses.

The elf king continued to walk away, but then Arawn decided to mock him telling him that "now the Elf king has become a warden of prisons?" This struck a chord and in an angered yell, he took up Dyrnwyn and attacked Arawn. But then he stopped. Just then, a loud laughing was heard. And to Pwyll's surprise, it came from the child. The child apologized to Arawn but the fallen phantom told her it's okay as long as it is in front of Pwyll.

Astonished at this, Pwyll asked who Arawn really is. When it was revealed that he is "Lucifer, the incompetent son of Myrddin", the king knelt and bowed his head, and in tears, he begged for guidance.

Yet Arawn told him he shouldn't kneel, lest they risk committing the same mistake twice. Rather, he told Pwyll to walk with him, in the path of kings. Pwyll agreed and smiled at Arawn, asking Arawn to be his friend. Arawn informed him that such term is not familiar in heaven. When Pwyll explained to him what it was, they exchanged their true names. Arawn is Lucifer and Pwyll is Regius.

After Arawn mocked Pwyll for his "Little King" name, they all shared a good laugh, ensuring that a new dawn awaits as friendship stands and hope, rekindled.

The first part of the vision ended there. Meanwhile, Octavia noticed the Dark Army headed at their location. But they are not at the very least worried at all, because the soft glow emanating from Dyrnwyn lifted their spirits, doubling their courage and multiplying their strength.

As they fought, the vision continued and Arthur has finally witnessed the Aftermath of the war. It is shown where Pwyll held Arawn's body, as he begged Ogam to heal his friend.

However, he noticed that the old man himself is crying. Ogam explained that it was a canon of Merkadis that has hit Arawn. It uses Electrum, an element Arawn's body is weak to. This made it impossible to cure him.

But as they spoke, the fallen phantom awakens, asking of the battle situations. With joy, Pwyll told him that they have won. They continued their conversations and Arawn revealed that since he is immortal, he would just sleep until his wounds heal.

With a final request, he and Pwyll sung the song of sealing and as they both chanted, they held tightly the Dyrnwyn sword.

In front of this golden light
For our friends
we promise to create a safe and gentle world
in this land
ACROSS THE WORLD!

As they did it, they stabbed the sword into the center of the stone and immediately the world was restored. However, Arawn could not see it, as his energy has ran out, demanding for a much needed sleep.

Arthur returned back to his senses and finally realizing it, he held Dyrnwyn and asked for its strength. As he pulled it out, a bright light appeared and from the sword, pure energy was released eliminating the Dark Army that threatens to attack them.

They congratulated Arthur for his deed and that their trust has completely stayed with him.

On the outskirts of Palladium, now revealed as a place where the White Phantom made his primary base, the jewel embedded on Arawn's Etlym glowed red, and with an affirming smile, Arawn knew at that moment that Arthur is on his way.

Comments: Drama, more info and battles for this episode has gone a bit more exciting. As more information is revealed, the action and plot deepens. Adding a bit of Arawn X Pwyll yaoi moments, I can't help but fall in love with the episode.

Following the death of Merlinus, Lucifer faced the wrath of the remaining 11 phantoms, who were currently lecturing him how he couldn't stop the treacherous acts and offenses that the phantom has committed.

However, they told him that they are willing to forgive him and allow him to join them as the white phantoms provided that Lucifer will pledge to obey to them. Lucifer agreed. Furthermore, the phantoms agreed to let him take after Merlinus' works, but of course, they will make minor adjustments.

Overjoyed that this has happened, he pledged himself to obey and to join the white phantoms. After this, he retreated to the outskirts of the council's meeting room.

Episode 21: Song of Genesis

Lucifer stood on the outskirts of the city, and was left alone to his thoughts, asking himself if what he's doing is really the right thing, as his father wanted. Then he remembered one thing that Myrddin reminded him- "It matters not what you have become, but what you do". This made him want to descend back to Earth and see what has taken place after the disappearance of his father.

As he arrived, he was greeted by a most beautiful place. The Song of Genesis has indeed called forth Spring. Flowers filled every corners of the land, grass, green and blooming stretched as far as the eyes could see and the towering mountains guarded the tranquility of the scenery.

He decided to pick a few flowers and offer it as a tribute to Myrddin. After doing so, he went to the cave hoping that like the outside world, it would be beautiful as well. However, nothing has changed. In fact, it has worsen. The cave has become even gloomier, and feels darker, as if filled with sorrow.

On its center, a roaring fire glows. And behind it, is the child they have saved. Glad that the child was alive, he came nearer to him and showed the flowers. However, the child did not respond. He shook the child harsher, but still, no response came. Angered, frustrated and impatient, he dragged the child outside, introducing him to Spring, the warmth and the beauty of life. But it made no difference. Instead, it only worsen as the child started to say something that is oddly unfamiliar.

"I serve the absolute being"

"I only love you"

"I live to serve"

"I am your servant"

"I will serve you"

These sentences sent Lucifer reeling, unable to fathom how this could happen. The child will not listen to any of his attempt. The child continued to worship the phantoms. Lucifer has now understood what is happening. This is what the phantoms have meant when they said "minor adjustments".

Angered at this, as well as the wastage of his father's sacrifice, he immediately ascended back into heaven and summoned the phantoms.

Of course, the 11 phantoms were annoyed to be disrupted by what they regarded as a lowly being however Lucifer held his resolve. As new confidence burned within him, he told the phantoms that he no longer wished to serve them and that he is backing off as a phantom.

The phantoms laughed at this, telling him it is not that hard as he is only to follow what they tell him and nothing less. However, he didn't listened.

The phantoms now realized that he is, like Merlinus, merciful of the humans and this angered him. They warned him not to make the same mistake as Merlinus did, it is simply foolish.

Upon hearing this, Lucifer laughed and told them it is they who are foolish and laughs. They were angered and warned that he will suffer the "curse of the phantom". Nevertheless, he had made up his mind. And after laughing some more, he uttered a simple "Ja ne!" and he descended back to Earth.

He descended to the exact spot, in front of the child. And to his joy, the child has came back to his senses. He gave him a final gift, a wreath of flowers and placed it on his head, telling him that he is, like the flowers, a primula, and there, he gave the child a total freedom.

The vision ends there and the scene shifted back to Talieshin. The said bard then parted with is friend, the dragon and left the cave, only to be greeted by the sight of the enemy, a long line of enemy now headed to Mt. Corus, to stop them in their plans. The bard then realized one thing- "He can't escape his destiny after all."

Meanwhile, Arawn, Arthur and the Gaels make their final stand in front of the magical glyph that held the ice age. The giant legendary warriors were each on their positions, and were already attacking the gigantic seals, in hopes of breaking it as fast as they could as the dark army advances.

A few enemy fell as the glyph gave way, but instead of an avalanche, a snowstorm came, destroying their plan. They decided to retreat to the foot of the mountain and as they were doing so, Arawn bumped into Talieshin. Arthur was about to ask him where he had been but the bard knocked him unconscious. A giant took the fallen warrior and joined the retreating army. As the others fled, the two conversed. Talieshin then told Arawn he knew everything, and that he is asking permission to chant "the song of genesis".

Arawn seems to be taken aback by this and attempt to stop him. However, the bard convinced him in the end. The fallen phantom could do nothing but watch as Talieshin called forth the Spring. The resulting spell made the snow collapsed and along with it, the bard disappeared.

The spell called forth an avalanche, drowning the dark army and burying them beneath an icy death. The war was stopped temporarily, and Arthur mourned for the bard while others merely watched as they held back their tears.

Night time fell and everyone was back in the castle... Reunion was quite short and silence once again fell over Avalon.

However, one elf- Epona- could not be silenced. He sat alone in one of the windows that Talieshin often played his harp. He grieved the loss of the bard and asked why he hadn't saved himself. However, he was greeted with no reply. Contemplating, the elf decided to let it go for now and offered to sing a song for Talieshin, just as he had sung to save everyone.

As he chanted a song in foreign language- an elven song that Talieshin liked- it rang through Avalon like a spell that soothed everyone, making them think as something stirred within their hearts.

Impression: This episode is indeed heartbreaking. Despite for their temporary victory, they have lost a leader and a friend that is devoted and is well-loved. On the other side, their peace is still temporary as they have yet to face the white phantom, their true enemy.

Episode 20: Lucifer | A Tears to Tiara Episode Summary by reychop

The scene opened to a distant land- a land above the sky, beyond the reach of our eyes, a city in the clouds. And within this magnificent city exists powerful entities known as the "phantoms". These phantoms were in charge with the activities and execution of plans to balance out the world in servitude to the great god known as "Vatos".

However, powerful as they are, they are not perfect individuals and like human beings, they can also be corrupted with negative emotions. And right now, the said individuals were enraged- enraged at a new threat to their beliefs.

They have heard of a new white phantom that is to join their ranks... They believe that there should only be 12 phantoms and other number is unlucky. Thus it come to pass that their beliefs were confirmed and thus charged Merlinus, a companion of theirs to handle the situation. Thus with pride, they continue to dwell in their belief, deeming the situation resolved, they uttered a prayer- a vow that will keep them together.

The prayers goes:

Let us, the twelve Phantoms bind together
Let us follow the will of Vatos
The one inviolable creator and true god
for the sake of a pure and perfect World!

Episode 20: Lucifer

In a small chamber, there lay a young phantom on a steel bed. A seemingly old man, or known to us as "Merlinus" hovered over him, telling him to awaken. As the younger one awaken, the education started right away, and introduced himself or rather asked himself to be addressed as "Myrddin" along with "Dad" or "Father". After the younger one agreed, Myrddin immediately took the role as a father and chose a name for his "son". After picking "Lucifer", the man warned his new son not to take his true name lightly.

Later after their encounter, Myrddin found Lucifer dwelling on his own thoughts, despondent and distant. This worried the phantom and asked his son what's wrong. Lucifer responded right away and asked if he can truly become a white phantom. Myrddin asked why he has managed to say it. His son told him that he heard the twelve white phantoms that there should only be 12 and nothing but 12. They also told him that he is made of rubbish that's only to be discarded.

His father merely laughed and told him he believed otherwise. Myrddin asked him why he wants to be and was disappointed when the other responded "to pursue a perfect world". He told his son that he is wrong due to the fact that seeking perfection will most likely twist our views and cause us to reject all that is imperfect. Nevertheless, he assured his son that he would be a white phantom stating that soon, there would only be 11 of them and the phantoms cannot accept such number (due to it being bad luck) thus there is a strong possibility that he would become one of them.

Meanwhile, the phantoms, behind hidden mirrors has told Lucifer that Merlinus has created the most brilliant plan to eradicate the entire human race- the deployment of control centers across the land. After a few commands, Lucifer uttered a simple "understood" and went on his way.

In another location, we see Myrddin talking with Ogam, telling him that they would start the plan soon and everything will be in perfect order. The old man told the phantom to take care. A few more secrets that are irrelevant (but will be useful in the future episodes) were revealed, until Lucifer entered the scene and broken their conversation, telling Myrddin that it is time for them to descend to the Earth.

As Myrddin walked away, Ogam told Lucifer that he is "silly" in the fact that he can't understand at all that showing off your talents is dangerous in heaven. Without knowing what it truly means, Lucifer ran to catch up with his father.

The two has managed to descend to Earth and came upon heaps of decaying corpses as ice age has taken over, freezing the defenseless humans and attacking them from within. Lucifer urged his father to go back, stating that their coming here is a simply waste of time. However, Myrddin exclaimed that the had made a realization, chastising himself for not realizing it in order just before the nearing of the completion. Lucifer asked him what he meant.

His father simply pointed him to the corpses. But still, he cannot understand. Thus the man explained it to him, stating his observation on how the humans combated the freezing cold. He noted that the women, men and aged stayed outside the circle while in the center is where the children are.

Lucifer could not see the significance, stating that all of them died anyway, signifying their weakness. Myrddin however is not just about to give up. He pointed to the center and noted the "still-alive-child" ordering Lucifer to save him. His son refused at first but Myrddin convinced him. Lucifer, annoyed at the seemingly futile efforts told him that it is merely a foolish thing to do and by continuing it, it would only risk him being destroyed and he would not allow that.

This made Myrddin realized one thing. He realized that his son is willing to turn a blind eye to everything just to save him. Thus he had made his decision and issued a final request.

The request turned out to be an absolute order in which it cannot be disobeyed. In a moment, Lucifer found himself unable to move true to the words of his father "Do not interfere- let my son be heavy as lead and be firm as stone. Let him stay still even just for a while". His father told him to watch what is about to take place.

To his horror, his father came near to the child, and chanted a spell- revealing the forbidden secret of fire. Despite his protest, his father did not listen and instead, continued to introduced the fire to the child.

When everything seems to be over, Myrddin performed the song of Genesis, a dangerous spell that drains the user of his life force and energy. While performing the spell, he turned to the child and told him that he is freeing him from the destiny/fate that the phantoms forced on them. Once this happens, he slowly vanished, leaving Lucifer to grieve his loss.

Episode 19: Son of the Night | A Tears to Tiara Episode Suimmary by reychop [REVISED AND EDITED]

Peace has been regained, but due to the aftermath of the war that has destroyed nearly half of Avalon, the Gaels and their comrades has a lot of work to do, mainly, reshaping the city into its former glory.

It has come to a point that everyone is taking a break and Arthur, the top warrior has taken the time to relax himself. Not sooner than that, his sister joined him and praised him for his work. However, he apologized to her in the sense that he had taken to long to return thus increasing the damage that could have been prevented should he instead took the time to seek help rather than sulk in his own crimes and cried over spilled milk.

But his sister assured him that everything is alright because she has placed her trust on him. In turn, Arthur promised that he would do everything into his power and that he would do better to protect them.

Episode 19: Son of the Night

Riannon came upon a damaged garden, sad at the state that the flowers are in. However, she has no time to lament as she heard familiar voices in that same garde. As he went on to investigate the source, she found out that Limwris and Ermin were planting new flowers. It was actually revealed that the elves loved flowers and the reason of their desire to replace the garden is their strong passion for flowers and its beauty.

During the course of their conversation, Riannon talked about her two most important person- Arawn and most importantly, her oniisan- Arthur. She talked of the past where both of them would stroll in the flower garden, played with the petals and even made wreaths for each other. However, Rainnon was sure that her brother has forgotten all of that and that their bond as "imouto and oniisan" could never return to what it once was.

Limwris assured her otherwise as she presented a box of flowers to Riannon, saying that Arthur himself found them and that he had originally planned to make wreaths out of them and give them to his sister. Overjoyed at this realization, Riannon happily received the box and made plans to make wreaths herself.

While the three girls were happily chatting, Arawn was watching them who was later joined by Arthur, who commented how fun it must have been for the girls.

Arawn only replied that this peace would not last long. As Arthur told him about the Empire, Arawn replied that the Holy Land is not their true enemy at all.

While this was going on, they were informed that their friend "Decimus"- the Late Gaius' loyal subordinate has visited them bearing ill news from the empire.

"The senate was murdered by an unknown assailant. There have been rumors in Londinium of a dark army." These two events that were the turning point and the start of a far greater conflict was confirmed by the blond adjutant's lips. And as the confirmation reached everyone's ears, Arawn told that it could be that the one behind all of these strange happenings is the "White Phantom" the true murderer of Arthur's father. At first, Arthur shook with rage, but he managed to control it now, as he had learned that not everything is all about revenge. Instead, he settled himself to listen to the new information and about this new enemy that has threatened the security of their nation.

It was explained that the Dark Army could have resulted from the discovery of the urn of ressurection or known as "the cauldron of rebirth" the one used by Drwyc to revive the demon king. The said artifact was seemingly returned to the hands of its original owner thus causing their situation now.

To combat this threat, Ogam suggested that they would have to enlist the aid of the Legendary Giant Warriors- those who reside in Mt. Corus, where the power of the ice age was sealed. Ogam planned to use this power to fight the dark army. However, the glyph that protects it is far more powerful than the magic that the y currently possess thus they would have to plan a strategy that would increase the probability of the success of the plan.

Arawn then planned a strategy, one that includes two parts. The first one is to divert the dark army's attention and the second one is to make the necessary preparations for them to harness the power sealed within the mountain.

Thus they have decided to proceed to the mountains and execute their newly-formed strategy.

Meanwhile, the house elves offered Riannon a tea. Riannon liked the tea but was curious as to how the tea was created. Limwris merely told her that it's a secret and she must come back alive to know it. Riannon merely smiled but their conversation was interrupted when Llyr and Rathty entered the kitchen, lured in by the aroma of the apple pie. They proceeded to eat it greedily, providing comedy and a good laugh for the viewers.

Amidst the commotion, Riannon heard a familier melody- Talieshin's harp playing. The said bard was sitting by a window when Riannon came to join him. As she called out to him, the poet joked if she wanted to start a romance with him. However, the girl sent him a serious expression and told him that his melody is sad.

This conversation has sparked a series of long narratives by Talieshin. At first, it was revealed that Talieshin is afraid- afraid of the prophecy that has been given to him. He relates the prophecy to Riannon. It goes like this: "The next elder would break the taboos of the god and there wrath will sent him to eternal darkness where the frightening beasts will make food of him."

He asked Riannon to take a glimpse into his future and asked if he could avoid such fortune. When Riannon told him it is inevitable, he looked a bit down but Riannon managed to cheer him up by saying that no matter how difficult the situation is, nor how hard it is to fight one's fate, one can change his destiny.

This seems to cheer him up so he prepared to take his leave. But just as they were to part, Epona came rushing to Riannon and told her that Limwris needed her. Once Riannon left the scene, Talieshin poked Epona on his cheeks and told him "You're still as smooth and as soft as ever". (And did you see a bit of shonen-ai here? Hehehe) This made me remember Episode 13 where Talieshin hugged the unsuspecting Epona in the end part.

Anyway, moving on to the story, Talieshin told the now blushing Epona how likeable he is. It is not because of any other reason but he is merely attracted to elves. This caused Talieshin to relay a story of his childhood where he set eyes on the most beautiful being he has ever seen on the night when he was on his way home to their village.

The two had a light conversation and when the two parted (with Talieshin once again poking Epona's cheek, the merchant elf sung an unfamiliar song- one that startled Talieshing causing the aspiring poet to whisper to himself. "I thought so, you were the son of the night."

Morning came and the pillars of the Avalon has banded together on their journey to Mt. Corus to begin their actions. As they went to the entrance of the cave, everyone could feel the sorrow within the area, Arthur even described it as "an errie feeling".

As they entered the cave, Talieshin heard a familiar voice and followed it, causing him to separate from the group. His disappearance did not worry the group as Octavia assured them that he'll "pop out later".

Going deep into the cave, Talieshin came into the graveyards of dragons and saw a few eggs. As he sat in contemplation, one of the eggs hatched, jumped onto him and signalled to come after it.

Talieshin followed it and came upon a secret door. As he entered it, he felt a strong feeling, later identifying it as hate. As he fell to the ground, a voice called him. "Strong Traveler", it addressed him and as it appeared, it introduced itself as a recording, one with the name of "Lucifer" and offered the bard to look at his memories.

Yes! We got a new ending theme song! But what's impressive is the contents of the episode, not only is it filled with new information and excitement but it has a hint between Epona and Talieshin- new pairing that I will commit myself to, yay!!! The preview itself shows promise that Tears to Tiara wont be ending soon as the group still have a lot of things to do... New battle will be fought and new sacrifices will be made. Epona is actually a woman. An anonymous reader has commented and I must say that he is rather correct (after reading from wikipedia). Since I haven't actually played the game, I have decided to stick with the anime. Though I do not know why Talieshin referred to him, or rather her as "the SON of the night, I am sure that it would be best to stay consistent. From now on, I'll refer to him as "her".

In connection, I would like to retract my statements. There is no shonen-ai references between Talieshin and Epona. However, one must admit that they look good together and Talieshin's obsession, and Epona's shyness is a good point. I'm sure that if a fandom got spread, we would find a way to change Epona's gender. After all, she already looked like a boy and act boyish... Her true gender would then be ignorable. Hahaha. Episode 18: The Return | A Tears to Tiara Episode Summary by reychop

The castle was finally breached. As the gate of Life fell, it gave way to the outer city and there, the Gaels were forced to retreat to the inner walls. The best female warriors, hid behind a wall. And in this scene, Octavia presented a pendant to Morgan, with their names engraved on it, thus, a new bond is forged- one that is stronger than before and their friendship has just made it to a deeper level, one that will forever bind them together, and perhaps greater than Octavia and Lidia's past relationship?

Anyway, Gaius has just entered the city, but has not yet made it to the inner part for a gate is blocking his way. He and his adjutant, Decimasu, were outside the main city. The burning houses and dead corpses of the enemy surrounds him. Though he has suffered considerable loss, his forces were replenished by the third and second army that has just arrive to help him.

When he announced that they will attack, the started siezing the gate, attacking it with the battering ram that they have brought with them. The Gaels could do nothing but watch helplessly as the gate slowly deterriorate.

At this same time, Riannon was watching from the main castle. But a wave of feeling hit her- a vision so to say. The war is bound the end this day.

Episode 18: The Return

Arthur and the Brigantes tribe marched throughout the forests and into the clearing, where the remaining Gael army was resting. There, they met Ogam and had a little chat.

Arthur declared that he had finally found the answer. The answer - " It is to protect your friends, and the ones that surrounds you, them, who placed their trust on you.. " After declaring this, Ogam gave him a nod and told him that he has finally started his journey to the way of the king, which went unnoticed by Arthur.

After their talk, Ogam asked the men to cheer if they agree to Arthur leading them to battle. After their approval, and a bit of reluctance from Arthur's side, they proceeded to Avalon, with only one thing in their minds- To protect the city and save their important people.

Back in Avalon, Gaius and his men continued to attack the city. And since there will be no more resistance from the Gaels, he decided to end the battle in a "more relaxed manner". As the Gaels continued to defend their city, a horn sounded- a summoning call. Thus they rushed out of the outer walls and proceed to the innermost gate- the gate to the throne.

Meanwhile, Ermin and Limrwis has heard the call as well. But they have decided to prepare something for the men. Thus, they went on deciding which dish to prepare as they are running out supplies and ingredients due to the attack.

Back in the battlefield, the inner gate has fallen down and Gaius was overjoyed at the thought that there is only one more gate and he'll be opening the door to the throne and hail himself as the new king and create a world he always wanted.

However, he was interrupted when an attack came and right there, he noticed the arrival of Talieshin. Angered at the betrayal of the bard, he told his men to attack while the battering ram to mind their own business and attack the gate. Thus, this divides the force that Gaius has gathered.

But his tactics failed as they were overwhelmed by the numerous members of the Brigantes tribe. While the battle is going on, Arthur mustered his loudest voice and kept calling out to Arawn.

Though it is possible that Gaius has been irritated so he reprimanded Arthur. But suddenly, a rather familiar voice directed itself to Arthur and told him that he's making too much noise. Before anyone could react, a blast occured followed by a solid ray of white light. From the last gate it came, destroying the battering ram as well as killing a few men that has stationed themselves near the vicinity.

Once it cleared off, Arawn finally appeared in all his glory, looking calmly like nothing has happened at all.

The appearance of Arawn has caused so much joy that Riannon has ran to him, still can't believe that he has finally awaken. Gaius took this opportunity to strike. And as Arawn is still engrossed with Riannon, Gaius struck his sword.

His eagerness to kill the demon king however vanished as Arthur blocked his attack. What annoyed him even more is how Arawn smirked at him, like he know something.

Meanwhile, it appears that the Imperial Army is losing and is currently having a hard time fighting the combined forces of the Brigantes tribe and the Gaels. The adjutant was losing hope but the vision of Gaius' world kept him going.

Back in the outskirts of the throneroom, Gaius and Arawn kept exchanging words and ideals. It was then revealed that Regius was actually the way of the king. However, Gaius kept on with his words, which infuriarated Arawn that "you humans still haven't understood" making his left eye flash deep red as some sort of force enveloped him.

They then started the duel. And after yet another exchange of words, Arthur and Gaius moved on to fight. However, Arthur is clearly losing. And after his temporary loss, this is the time when Gaius realized that Regius also means "Little King" and that Arawn only intends to groom the "little brat" to become a true king. In other words, Arawn's goal is to prepare Arthur to be king.

Arawn's smirked can't possibly get any wider as his pride welled up. After telling Gaius that he "finally understood", Gaius was then filled with blind anger, unable to accept that he is not the destined one to be king. This cause him to lose focus, allowing Arthur to stab him.

After this, he praised Arthur, calling him "king" and asked him a final request. He asked Arthur to spare the soldiers after his death. Arthur asked Arawn for assistance but Arawn merely told him to do what he think is right. Thus Arthur decided to agree.

Their session was interrupted when his adjutant arrived, trying to attack Arthur and Arawn, but Gaius stopped him and gave him the final order instead- the submission of the army.

And right before he fell, he had given a rather lengthy speech. But most of it contains his regrets of not realizing his mistakes sooner, how they should have been friends instead. But, all was too late as he has realized it only at this time. As his time runs out, he managed to say his last wishes "please pursue the path of freedom."

Gaius' defeat has reached the Imperial senate and instead of concern and worry, they merely laughed at his loss. Their arrogant merrymaking was interrupted however, when a supposed to be gardener of "his imperial" majesty appeared.

And after asking why he is present, he merely smiled and told them how disappointed is he with their limitations. Thus, he decided to stop the act.

Before they could respond, a red hot flame coiled from his body, and reached out to every members in the senate, killing them all silently in a matter of seconds.

Episode 17: For Friendship | An Episode Summary for Tears to Tiara

Warning: This episodes contain many short shifting of scenes making it hard to come up with a good narration and summarization of the story lest we miss an important detail that will affect the accuracy of the story. Thus, I chose to include the entire story, sacrificing the flow and narration. Hopefully, it will be as understandable as possible. And now, enjoy! ^_^

Arthur ran as fast as he could, past the forests and deep into steep mountains, heading for an unspecified location.

Meanwhile, the siege on Avalon continues. Though its walls have given way to the catapults and their massive boulders and fiery contents, the Gael defenders held their ground. The misfortune of the Gaels led to the enjoyment of the most respected and influential general of the holy Empire- Gaius. Despite for the considerable damage that they have dealt, the general was angered when the Gaels fought back, and thus called for the battering ram and the second army that escorts it.

Within Avalon, the females- Riannon, Octavia and Morgan surrounded Arawn and wished for his well-being, hoping that they would wake up soon. However, it is of no use as he remained unresponsive and unconscious.

As for Arthur, he had apparently traveled a great distance and obstacles. It appears that he is traveling within a forest, repeating a promise to return to Avalon as he ran.

Episode 17: For Friendship

A sea of blood... Arawn stood in a lake so red... in deep contemplation as his very being doubts and lose his confidence. But as he felt his confidence fade, a figure appear and a voice calling him "My Child" made him rethink his decision as the voice told him a few words of wisdom, including how each age prosper and fade (Golden Age, Silver Age and the Bronze Age) and a vision appears. The voice also introduced itself as "Myrddin" - Arawn's father. (And so the relationship between Arawn and Myrddin is finally revealed!)

Back in the real world, Riannon did not, for a second, left Arawn's side. She kept telling him to wake up and that he is not at fault.

The scene shifted back once more to Arawn's dream, showing Pwyll (It was confirmed in this episode that the Arthur look-alike is actually Pwyll) and Primula (the Riannon look-alike), with Pwyll begging him to wake up. As Arawn expressed his doubts, Pwyll sent visions at him- a vision of how everyone worked hard and fought bravely to protect their honor and to keep their flames of hope burning.

The vision shows the event outside the castle, and there showed Llyr, Octavia and Morgan defending the city as hard as they could, making sure no one passed the gates and march into the city. The other inhabitants helped as well and cooperated to gather enough water and put out the flames that the Imperial catapults has ignited within the walls.

This vision has caused Arawn to realize that it is not that bad after all but he asked about an important person, who has not yet showed himself. But Pwyll once again erased his doubts as he showed Arthur who is struggling to reach the Brigantes' village and ask for their aid.

Pwyll then told him that he believe that this time, Arawn won't have to go to sleep again until he finally finds an answer. Thus Arawn promise that he would wake up. As a parting gift, Primula gave him a necklace made of flowers- an amulet so to say.

Meanwhile, the invading Imperial Army were easily defeated. The catapults were destroyed and the soldiers were massacred one by one while the Gaels only suffered minimal casualties. However, they have no time to rest and celebrate as the second group of Gaius' force arrived, bringing with them a more powerful contraption and a larger amount of soldiers.

"Success is near" This is what Gaius uttered to himself as he and his army pushed forward to the city. His Adjutant and he were inside a tent when his Adjutant asked him if the war they were into is just. However, he replied that "the only ones who are just in a war are those who won" however, that is not what he really meant. He turned to his Adjutant, telling him that to be truly just, they'll have to eliminate the senate and its officials first, then struck near his adjutant. The other man was relieved when he was not the target but an Imperial spy hiding behind the curtains.

As the spy fell, Gaius told his Adjutant of a country he dream of making- a benevolent, flexible country. His adjutant asked him if he could join this new country, Gaius merely smiled at him and told him he could, after all, he's the most reliable he ever had. (yaoi moments here? hehehe, you be the judge)

The scene shifted once more. Arthur, by this time has reached the Forest of the elves. But just like before, his way was blocked by Talieshin.

As the two talked, the scene showed Avalon city defending itself. As the battering ram came into view, they focused their fire on it, to prevent it from attacking the gate. However, their attacks have no effect.

Back in the forest, Talieshin took note of Arthur's new appearance. He was more determined and it seems that he has experience something that is so great that he has changed completely. Then the bard asked him what changed him- what situation or occurrence that he has gone through to spark the change.

Then Arthur told him that he has realized that not everything is all about vows and promises. He told him that the reason why he fought is not for vows and traditions but for his sister, for his companions and for all the Gaels who trusted him. And more importantly, the one that trusted him the most and considered him to be his friend- Arawn.

Arthur then shifted his attention to Talieshin and repeated once more his plea for help and told him that he is willing to sacrifice his life and continue to beg for their elder to have the Brigantes tribe help them in the war.

Back in Avalon, the Gate of life has already weakened as the battering ram attacked it, mercilessly destroying its fortifications without any difficulty.

Meanwhile, Talieshin told him that, after listening to him, he finally found the answer, the similarity of Arthur's words to what Pwyll, the builder of Avalon, has said has caused him to realize one thing.

This led to his confession that like Arthur, he is also bound by prophecies and legends. Then after that, he told Arthur that they'll be heading out and to Arthur's surprise, the destination is Avalon. The bard then introduced himself as the son of the Brigantes' elder, the cursed son of the elder and started the calling.

Once the members have arrived, he told them that he will be leaving the command of the tribe to Arthur- meaning he will be their new elder. With Arthur's signal, they made their way to Avalon.

Meanwhile, the Gaels have retreated into the inner walls and watched heplessly as the battering ram broke down the Gate of Life, and stormed the city. Will Arthur arrive in time?

Thoughts: The episode is filled with action. And as such I will definitely expect even more intense action in the next episode. And what would be the other's reaction of Arthur's return? Episode 16: The Reason to Fight | A Tears to Tiara Episode Summary

Boom! Crash! The walls of Avalon City came rushing down, damaged by the endless barrage of fire and debris as Gaius and his men marched outside the gates, their huge army behind them. The general was glad, overwhelmed with happiness that he had finally defeated the Gael's "Flame of Hope" to which Riannon is very proud of.

As the bombardment continues, a scout informs him that the 2nd army has reached the forests. The general merely told him to inform the group to go with the third team.

Meanwhile, Riannon is in the royal chambers, gazing at Arawn hopelessly as a new courage rose up within her. She promised to him that while he is recovering and while Arthur is missing, she will guard the city with everything that she have.

Upon doing so, she marched outside the courtyard and boldly declared to everyone that Arawn is doing better and Arthur will definitely return. This strengthened their failing hope. And was even further boosted when a soldier said that they are the Gaels- fearless in battle and strong in power. They will not give up and they returned to their post, surprising the already assembled Imperial Army.

Back deep in the Forest of the Elves, Arthur took refuge, tormented by the guilt and the consequences of his betrayal. He beat himself, questioning... wondering how he could do such a thing, to Arawn no less, the Elder and his personal best friend.

Episode 16: The Reason to Fight

A small group of Gaelic warriors were on a forest. The serenity and peace was broken with Morgan's loud complaint of why they must remain in the forest. Octavia questioned if it was that the scout's instruction were delayed.

But Ogam confessed that they had lost contact with Avalon and to ensure the safety of their military force, they must stay in the forest for four days. When Morgan complained once again, Ogam explained that with Arthur's disappearance and Arawn's injuries, the Gaels have lost their pillars of strength, thus lowering the spirits and ability to fight.

Furthermore, Ogam explained that the entire series of events is nothing more than a well-planned trap and they fell right into it. Morgan was contented and has agreed with their plans.

Meanwhile, the entire city of Avalon is under heavy seige. The minimal resistance they offered did not affect the war, but amazed Gaius still the same. He was under the impression that they have lost their will to fight but he was surprised and praised the "wife of the demon king" for the job well done as well as her competence as the leader. Despite for only Riannon, a few Gael warriors and the two elves defending the city, it did not fell into the Empire and the walls remained impenetrable despite for the considerable damage it took from the catapults.

At that same time, Arthur met Ogam in an island, where a beautiful temple stood. Ogam greeted Arthur however the warrior told Ogam that he need not change the topic. If he have come to punish him for his crimes, then he would take the responsibility and will not run away from the punishment.

However, the old mage merely told him that he's thinking a lot. As was mentioned a while ago, the mage was merely in this place because he misses it and it brings back old memories for him. This seems to calm Arthur down and he asked Ogam what is his reason to fight.

In response, Ogam asked Arthur if he knows about dragons. When the warrior informed him that it is merely a fairy tale, he decided to tell him the whole story, as well as the mage's true identity- a dragon robbed of his hometown.

The ruined island is actually a shrine to the people who lived far beyond the horizon, Ogam's ancient comrades. Their land, no longer visible to the people was wiped off when the second moon, the moon that shines on the day fell on their hometown and curshed it beneath its weight. There are creatures who drove them away and took their already ruined hometown from them. This, according to Ogam, is his reason to fight- his inability to forgive them is what drove him to go to battle. After telling his tale, Ogam asked the same question to Arthur but the warrior has no answer, so he settled for silence.

Back in the Gaelic tribe's camp in the forest, Morgan is going crazy, impatience and worry clawing at her. So, she complained to Octavia and told her how she could be so calm at such times. But the former Imperial Warrior replied that she's not really that calm at all. And after assuring Morgan that they will leave, the two used stealth to leave the army behind.

Meanwhile, while talking to Ogam, Arthur saw smoke rising out of Avalon city and rushed towards it. However, the now-revealed-as-a-dragon Ogam stopped him, telling him that he has abandoned his comrades and the battlefield thus he has no right to fight anymore. This stopped Arthur and after a lengthy conversation about wars, tragedy and history, Ogam informed the young warrior that he should go to Gorsedd Arrawn to seek for the truth. The place is Arawn's Throne, built by the blood and courage of the dragons, elves and humans when they were still living in peace.

Meanwhile Octavia and Morgan made their move at nightfall, stealing Imperial uniform as disguises as they attempt to slip past the huge Imperial troop deployment on the outskirts of Avalon undetected.

Back to Ogam and Arthur, they were attacked by a group of bears or something- blue warriors with fear-inducing teeth and powerful weapon techniques. At the course of the battle, Arthur managed to unintentionally yell Arawn's name. This cause him to remember their "moments" together and the times when they fought side by side. This also triggers him to remember what Arawn told him before he fell. Remembering that Arawn call him his friend is enough and made him content.

Through this satisfaction, he yelled to Ogam, with great confidence that he now understand what he must do. This made the man nod in gladness. But before words could be spoken, the Earth shook and the temple gates opened. The enemies then retreated for a greater foe has emerged, identified by Ogam as the Electrum Golem- a relic of the ancient battle.

To fight the monster fairly, Ogam transformed into his demon side. This made Arthur aware that the man was not lying to him. The man then told him, while fending off the golem, to do what he has to do.

Arthur hesitated. But Ogam promised that they will meet again. This is enough to get Arthur going.

Meanwhile, Octavia and Morgan braved the Imperial camp. Donning their disguises, they quietly moved through the guards. However, it was unfortunate that a guard offered Morgan a drink, revealing her to be "female" and a "Gaelic warrior". Thus they were chased. However, they managed to outrun the guards and informed Avalon's watchmen to let them in.

Through the help of Lyr's "Rathty Missile" they were able to divert the enemy's attention and granted safe passage to Morgan and Octavia. Upon their entrance, the Flames of Hope were rekindled and the Gaels once again boosted their spirits as well as their firepower.

However, as the 2nd Imperial Army on their way, can they still manage to survive? What will become of Arthur? How about the Gaels stuck in the forest? Will everything be back to normal? Can the Gaels ever be recovered? The next episode will surely turn the tides of battle and intensify the excitement even more. Let us together anticipate the next episode of Tears to Tiara!

Epiosde 15: Candidus | Tears to Tiara Episode Summary

Be Warned: This episode is exciting and can make you scream and shout in some parts of the episode. This part of the anime is simply oozing with action and drama. By reading this episode without watching it first, there is a possibility that you might lose the excitement when watching the show itself. Therefore, I am advising that you watch the episode first before spoiling yourself. With that out of the way, please enjoy the episode summary.

The scene opened with Mayor Creon, talking to himself about how the Empire can't take care of the Gaels. He also made mention of how an ancient power called "Gravitas" will win this war. Once he has finished talking, a purple spell glyph surrounded him and he began chanting his spell, while Gaius oversee the gathering of his small army as he proceed to finally start the first phase of his goal- the destruction and total annihilation of the Gael rebels.

Meanwhile, on the sanctuary of Avalon, Arthur was swinging his sword, shaken by what he had witnessed in the tomb from their previous adventure, he was once again consumed by the vow of vengeance, making hatred course through his veins.

Episode 15: Candidus

Arawn is seen taking to a small girl, begging him not to go, but Arawn told her that this is the final battle. Furthermore, he told her that although he will not survive, the thought of helping his people is enough to make him happy.

But the girl continued to cry. The demon king comforted her as he hugged her, and surprisingly addresses her as "Pwyll".

Riannon woke up, the dream has shaken her from her thoughts and she kept mumbling about intense grief. Unable to fall back to sleep, she decided to walk out of her room to catch some air. Outside however, she found Arawn sitting on a bench, wide awake.

She approached him and after a brief talk, Arawn told her why she won't reconsider. Confused by his statement, Riannon asked him to explain.

Their elder merely told her that the war has gone more intense and he could no longer predict the future. While saying this, he slowly remove the elder scarf and hand it back to Riannon. But the girl merely shook her head and as she received the scarf, she placed it back around his neck, saying that Arawn need not promise her anything. All she really want is to be with him and protect him for all eternity.

The next morning, the Gaels led themselves to a scary-looking forest according to the plan that they have agreed upon, as viewed by a flashback. Before they entered the forest, Riannon warned Arawn that they should not go or something ominous will happen to Arawn. But the elder told her that he already what his destiny is and that they must proceed.

As they proceed deep into the forest, the elves, Rathty and Llyr could feel themselves weakening. And Arawn commented that Gravitas, god's gravity, is present, making the elves panic. They reached a small clearing, and a huge lake.

Thinking that it was a dead end, they were to turn and find another way when the trees fell, blocking their only exit. With not even a moment of rest, they suddenly were surrounded by a rather familiar enemy.

As the Gaels drew their swords, bows and staffs, they waited for the enemy to come into view. But to the shock of all, skeletons came from the huge lake, not just skeletons but dead Gael warriors. Knowing that they will be fighting their former comrades, the rest are no longer willing to fight and this caused Octavia to cover for them.

Everything seems to be lost, when a skeleton attempted to bite Morgan's leg. Thus she struck the head with her arrow and told everyone that she can no longer take this and she will have to fight. The others followed her and a battle followed.

From afar, Gaius sat on his little watch tower as he received news that the Gaels has already faced the "living dead", the reinforcements from the Mayor.

Meanwhile, back in the battlefield, the elf Llyr, has found her strength waning as she felt the Gravitas once again.

The fighting continues, but their efforts are useless as the Necroms, the immortal vanguards kept on reincarnating themselves. Ogam told them that he will have to pulverize the Necroms completely with his "Fire Genesis" but Arawn stopped him saying that if he will use it to these lowly creatures now, he cannot use it for a long time.

Arawn told him that he will have to use his own magic. Ogam hesitated but Arawn has already asked Arthur to cover for him, as well as the rest of the Gael warriors. Riannon seems to hesitate, but she followed the rest anyway.

As everyone has already head off, Arawn started his incantation, a simple, well-phrased sentences that invoked a power- power that rivals that of the elves and the gods... and a gigantic white glyph surrounded him.

""Give me the absolute white
Give me the flawless white
Give me the pure white, a pure world
The power to erase the impervious impurity
The power to purify the world
The power of truth, the power of the heavens, the flames of the punishment of the gods
Come to us, CANDIDUS!!!"
"

After chanting it, a bright white surrounded them all, defeating the Necroms. However, their victory is short-lived as Ogam explained that the spell might even cost Arawn his life. Everyone is shocked at the revelation and so is Arthur.

But Arthur's focus is not directed at Ogam, but at Arawn who is now glowing white. Arawn further explained that this is him when he was younger, when he was still arrogant. Arthur then felt a pain on his chest and a small memory resurfaced.

Riannon then rushed to Arawn's side, worried about their leader. This occurrence further awakened the memory and as the killer introduced himself as "Arawn", Arthur left his dream land and gripped his sword.

Then with rage, he told Arawn that he has killed his father. The others did not seem to believe it, but Arthur did not care. His sister tried to reason with him but the vow of vengeance and the hate has taken over him, making him momentarily lose his righteousness and his judgment.

Slowly, he chanted "kill him" as if madness has driven him. And as he lost control, he charged and struck!

Time stood still, broken only by Arawn's blood who had now stained Arthur's hand and sword. Arawn's voice drew Arthur to reality... "Well done... You have defeated the enemy."

Arthur is in a fit of denial. And after complimenting him, Arawn fell and the skies mourned for him... Arthur could only scream.

Meanwhile, Gaius has received news of Arawn's near-death experience at the hands of his best friend no less. The said brat (Arthur) had seemingly ran off to the forest and the demon king has lost his ability to fight.

Seeing the perfect opportunity, Gaius ordered to start the assault.

Thoughts: Wahhh!!! I could so see an Arawn X Arthur moment here. Especially the fact that Arawn complimented Arthur despite for his actions... Episode 14: The Innocent Soul | An Episode Summary for Tears to Tiara

The scene opened up to reveal an Imperial soldier, wearing a uniform that is unlike the regular ones but still recognizably Imperial, watched a group of Gaelic people on their way to the forest. Apparently, the group consists mostly of the higher positions, with Arthur, Morgan, Riannon and Arawn. Arawn, being dragged by a very excited Morgan complained that he is still sleepy and he needs more sleep.

It ended with Arthur telling him that if he did need to sleep, he should have returned to the graves. This joke was not taken lightly as Arawn then commented that they will have to visit the graves since he remembered something.

Meanwhile, in a fortified encampment, Gaius contemplated on his past encounters with Arawn and focused mainly on Regius, the Lord of the Stars and Arawn's desire to meet up with him. His musings were however interrupted by his adjutant who informed him of the senate's summon.

Episode 14: The Innocent Spirit

Back in Avalon, the rest are relaxing as Ermin and Limwris served them tea. During this time, Arawn revealed that he was serious when he told them that they will have to visit the graveyard, or simply known as Arawn's mausoleum, the place where he was buried.

After they made the necessary preparations, they set out to the indicated site and paused to admire at the scenery that although it is a bit old and not cleaned, the building is still impressive.

Riannon had a headache but she did not want to worry to others so she decided to brush it off as nothing and told Arthur that she's fine.

Meanwhile, they were informed that the treasures should be intact even though the Empire had broken in since they have not passed through the main entrance which can only be located by Arawn. Relieved by this, they decided to enter the area. Arawn chanted a few words (the subtitle showed "open sesame" but the audio is far from that).

Once the door has opened, the group went in, immediately attacked by a group of robots called Talos. A brief battle ensued, quite simple for a group of skilled swordsmen, archer, mage and healer.

After the encounter with the first tomb guardian, Arawn led the group to the lowest level where they watched in awe at the treasures, murals and the architecture. However, one of them caught sight of a dead Imperial soldier- recognizable through the standard uniform as his face is completely destroyed.

Not to long after the discovery, an ogre emerged from a hole and attacked the group. At first, the fight seems difficult enough but with Ogam's help, they weakened the monster and defeated it, leaving them free to wander around and collect the treasures within the tomb.

After the said battle, Octavia apologized to Arawn, in behalf of the Empire for the damages- including the rousing of the guardians, the damages on the walls and the scratches on the murals. But Arawn replied that she shouldn't worry about it as the mentioned damages were from a long time ago.

After that, they started the exploration, and having fun while doing so, laughing at the things they found and studying some details and among other things.

Arawn and Riannon were talking about the origins of this place and it was revealed that the tomb was originally created by the Elves. After a longer time of talking, Arawn was called by Arthur. Riannon tried to follow but a headache stopped her from oing so and she saw a vision of the past that showed her very interesting details about the tomb and the coffins.

She was taken out of the vision by Ogam who asked her if she is alright. Riannon asked him a few questions. Ogam tol her that he has no permission from Arawn. But after seeing the disappointed look on Riannon's face, Ogam told her that he'll tell her, provided that she will pretend that the man is only talking to himself.

After agreeing to the deal, more information were revealed, including the fact that the place is dedicated to Myrddin and originally, his tomb. Their conversation ended when Riannon asked the man what Arawn and Myrddin's relationship was. This caused the man to cough and walk away, and luckily for him, Octavia has called him, eliminating any need for excuses. (Though it makes me wonder why Ogam refused to answer this. Was it perhaps that Myrddin and Arawn has any relationship that can be deemed as "more than just friends"? Either way, another hint of yaoi in here! Hehehe)

Anyway, Ogam answered a few of Octavia's questions but it was due to Arawn that the main story of the anime is starting to unfold.

Arawn explained that the gigantic sun represents the Absolute God called "Vatos" the sun is shining on 12 phantoms. Do note that Arthur looked at the mural and Arawn with renewed interest upon hearing the word "phantom". Anyway, Riannon commented that there are 13 men in the mural. After telling her that one phantom is redundant, no more questions were raised so Arawn told them to pack up and leave with their newly acquired treasures.

However, Arthur remained rooted to the ground, unable to gaze away from the mural painting as a new seed has been planted. Noticing that Arthur is not following, Arawn asked Arthur what's wrong. The top warrior hesitated but he told Arawn how alike he is to the phantom on the painting. Gaining more courage, the warrior told their elder how alike are those phantoms are to his father's murderer.

Arawn drew his attention and Arthur retracted his accusations quickly. As they left, you can't help but notice the silence and the tension growing.

Meanwhile, the senate has met up with Gaius. The general complained to the senate and told them how foolish it is of them to refuse his requests for further reinforcements. However, a council member held his hand and told him that it is no longer necessary to discuss the matter. They called for a man they called "Delator". The said man is the spy they relied on. This same spy is the one who witnessed the group and observed them earlier on.

The council told him to report who in turn told them that Arawn is no longer worthy of his title. He is unfit for the fact that he hunts wild boars during the day and drinks wine at night seeking pleasures and merrymaking here and now.

This caused the council to laugh at Arawn but turned a serious face to Gaius. They told him that if the reports are true, then it is indeed a serious matter- not the Gaels, but Gaius. They speculated that his calls for reinforcements is a sign that he wants to gather and start a revolt. Due to this assumption, they told him that they will have to issue a final warning should he not back down and leave peacefully.

Gaius tried to explain but the council had already told him the meeting has ended. Thus he left the room and angrily punched a wall, venting out his anger for Arawn. His adjutant saw him. There, he ordered the yellow-haired soldier to gather every gold in his name and hire anyone he could- may it be mercenary or retired soldiers.

Meanwhile, Riannon entered Arawn's room. She saw Arawn, the first time with a sad expression, sulking within the confines of his already darkened room- his bad mood already seeping through the walls making his appearance pitiful.

Riannon tried to cheer him up with a puppet show but his spirit could not be lifted for the words that left Arthur's mouth has cut deep and sharp... He kindly asked Riannon to tell him the story next time as he is feeling a bit sad.

The Preview shows promise and my suspicions are confirmed. Indeed, it was Arawn who killed his father. But is Arthur really correct or is he making a wrong choice? The next chapter shall tell. Stay tuned for the Next Episode: Candidus

After Riannon's rescue, everyone welcomed her and greeted her with warm smiles and sweet words as they are most relieved and grateful to see her safe and sound. And of course, the main leaders are from afar, observing the current proceedings from a certain balcony.

While watching her (Riannon's) actions, Ogam commented how more similar she is to an elf than a human- the second time someone commented that to her, but this time, she didn't heard it.

Episode 13: Brigantes

After their reunion, the group had a small meeting regarding their future plans and movements. They had acknowledged the fact that compared to Gaius' army, their forces are a bit weaker and their possibility of winning is not that great.

Therefore, it was suggested that they form an alliance. As it was revealed that most groups and factions are afraid of getting involved due to reasons of their own – more specifically they just don't want to have an encounter with the fearsome Imperial Army and break the peace they are currently enjoying, Morgan suggested that they form an alliance with the nearby tribe near Avalon city.

Thus, the Brigantes were introduced... And as they dig deeper into their lineage and history, it was revealed that these people were somehow related to the Gaels by blood.

Riannon was somehow affected by this discovery and she spent her time alone on a balcony, gazing at the stars to clear her mind and seek guidance from the Lord of the Stars. While she was contemplating her current situation, Arawn joined with her and there he told her about some insightful words including a tiny voice inside her heart.

This seemed to settle Riannon down for a bit and right there, she has decided to still kept on going...The next morning, the Gaels set out and started their journey to search for the said tribe in order to at least communicate with them. They reached the Forest of the Elves and were immediately surrounded by yet-to-be seen entities.

Sensing the presence of these men, the Gaels upped their guard and assumed defensive formation, drawing out their swords.

Arawn was the first to speak, confirming if they really are the Brigantes. Having no reply, Arthur demanded them to answer in a slightly forceful manner.

To their surprise, Talieshin appeared from the shadows. They had a lengthy conversation and during the course of that conversation, they had asked- or rather demanded to see the elder of the tribe. But Talieshin refused.

When they asked why, the bard told them that the elder has passed and no one has ever tried to replace him due to the so called “cursed prophecy” in which it is said that whomsoever take up the seat as the next elder of the tribe will suffer greatly and misfortune shall befall him.

Arthur told him that it shouldn't be so. Since an elder should always bear the responsibility no matter how great it is, since a tribe cannot truly exist without a leader. This surprised Talieshin.

Furthermore, an exchange of words caused both parties to heat up and to prevent a battle, Arawn suggested representatives from both sides. Due to this, Arthur and Talieshin must now face each other. However, when it was revealed that Talieshin has a dislocated shoulder, Arthur refused to fight saying it would be unfair.

Despite his protests however, Arawn dragged him to the center. To make things interesting, Arawn offered a bet, and offered his head should Arthur lose. This even doubled Arthur's doubt and reluctance to fight.

Not able to decide right away, Arthur asked for some time alone to think, which the men granted. While Arthur is away, Talieshin told Arawn about the legend about Pywll who had a companion dressed in black with him. The said man always accompanied Pwyll but on his last battle, though the elven king won, the man disappeared.

Talieshin asked Arawn where could that person be... Arawn replied “How would he know”. Before more words are spoken, Arthur emerged from the spot, and the duel started.

As the duel progresses, it is apparent that Arthur is losing. The top warrior of the Gaels is having difficulty fighting- with a handicapped no less. This led Talieshin to taunt him further and increasing his pace.

Once Arthur's sword slipped out of his hand, Arawn's assumption was proven correct and it was revealed that Arthur is intentionally losing to gain a fair fight. In an attempt to have his shoulder dislocated, he has lost his focus on the match, leading to his loss.

Once this was revealed, anger flared up within Talieshin, telling the warrior that he should pay with his life. The bard told him that he should not pity anyone and especially not when it battle.

Arthur replied that he did not meant to lose out of pity but out of fairness. Within the ranks of the Gaelic army, no one would want to fight a weakened foe and expect satisfaction out of that victory. Therefore, he is merely doing the “morally correct” thing to uphold the warrior's honor. Furthermore, Arthur continued that he had understood Talieshin's way of survival- the fight for his loved ones and his willingness to sacrifice himself just for the survival of those whom he loved.

However, Talieshin's anger has not faded, he was shaking, contemplating on what to do. Just then, the other tribe surrounded Arthur with a look of approval on their faces. This is enough for Talieshin and with a parting message, he led the others back to the jungle.

The Gaels did the same as they went for their home, fixing Arthur's shoulder and Arawn praising Arthur for an unpredictable yet wonderful achievement.

Meanwhile, Gaius has received news of this and is not happy that Talieshin is weighing his favor between the Empire and the Gaels. Though a moment of peace followed, the sky darkened to an inevitable fight.

Episode 12: The Threat of the Empire

Riannon left flowers to pay respect for the dead Imperial soldiers and prayed for the dead. However, when she was doing so, she overheard two foreign voices from afar. Curious, she decided to look for it, and listened.

Not intending to get caught, she hid in one of the bushes and listened in. However, Gaius calmly looked at her direction and told her to come out. Having no choice at all, she decided to come out as quietly as she could.

Applauding her for her smartness, Gaius explained to his assistant that the girl is indeed smart since she knew that if she creates any noise, this would be a disadvantage and could cause unavoidable battle.

He decided to offer Riannon a bargain, one that she could not refuse. He asked her to go with them and they'll retreat. And of course, not wanting to endanger the others, she agreed.

Meanwhile, Arthur and Morgan were looking for her, and upon the discovery that Riannon is missing, Arthur decided to take action.

Episode 12: The Threat of the Empire

Arthur is getting out of control. With the disappearance of his sister, his resolve vanish, his coolness broke and he lost his concentration as fear and anxiety coursed through his veins. Begging Arawn to take action, he was surprised that his request was denied.

As he was about to go and take action for himself, Arawn stopped him and told him to relax, as the demon king himself will go look for his beloved sister. Still not content, Arthur tried to stop Arawn, but the elder has already left leaving Arthur angered and hurt.

However, Ogam explained that Arawn will go to a deep sleep or what we would call as "meditation" since Riannon and he had a certain connection due to the "bizzare" occurrences that took place on their first meeting.

Meanwhile, at Gaius' encampment, Riannon was held captive. It was revealed that the very same Talieshin was talking with the leader- Gaius.

After he left, Gaius asked his assistant about the newly captured girl. In all actually, she was really behaved, supported by the next few scenes that has occured where Riannon seems not to be affected by the capture at all and even greeted the guards who served her food.

Though she commented about the food's ingredients, the guards got angry at her but before lifting a single hand to her, they heard a commotion outside and it was revealed that a soldier fell from a high place.

Riannon rushed to the site and despite everyone's protest, she healed his wounds.

Naturally, Gaius' assistant reported the entire occurrence and Gaius asked where she is. It was discovered later on that Riannon is serving hotpot to the soldiers. Shocked at this, Gaius talked to her in private and asked her why she is helping what could be the ones who will kill her and her friends in the future.

She merely replied that it doesn't matter when one is friend or foe but if being in the camp is her destiny, she would gladly accept it.

Back in the Gael's city, Arawn has emerged from his meditation and announced that they should gather everyone as they will start the search.

Meanwhile, Gaius introduced Riannon and let her observe how the Empire prepare their exercises and how the execution of these takes place.

Gaius told Riannon "Now you have seen the overwhelming power of the Empire". Gaius and Riannon held an exchange of words, ideas and principles. Gaius threatened her that they would surely lose. But the girl replied that they will not give up.

While Gaius is thinking of what Riannon referred to as "the Flame of Hope", the Gaels started to mobilize and start their rescue operation.

Back in Avalon, everyone is shown and that their worry for Riannon is clearly displayed. But they need not worried because Riannon is treated well and that the Imperial soldiers recognized her as a part of the group and not an enemy.

While in Gaius' camp, Riannon noticed a familiar song and there, she met Talieshin. The bard himself recognized the familiarity through the hotpot and they had engaged on a private conversation beneath the stars.

During their conversation, Talieshin made various comments on her, on how elf-like she is and less human and how he knew of the Children of the Night. While talking, Riannon heard a voice, mistaking it for the god of the stars. The voice urged her to come, and indeed she left a Talieshin who merely shrugged and murmured "maybe she doesn't like me".

Meanwhile, the guards tried to stop Riannon who is leaving the gates. She was almost shot with an arrow but Talieshin used his body as a shield and Gaius emerged, telling the men not to pursue and admonishing Talieshin for his actions.

On the other hand, Riannon is just glad to be reunited with her friends and family...

Another quiet night, in another war to fight...

Arthur couldn't sleep that night. He couldn't sleep most nights. Thoughts
plagued his mind, making it too difficult for him to sleep. So many things it
usually left him with a migraine in the morning.

He watched the stars above, shining down below. They were always so
beautiful. Wherever he went, he'd like to stop and admire them. From this
awful war-hungry world, these stars shine to keep him in peace... Peace...

Will there ever be peace?

"You're still up?"

Arthur saw it was Arawn who spoke. He grinned at the Demon King.

"You too?"

"Can't sleep."

"Same here."

Arawn approached the swordsman and took a seat next to him. The relationship
of the two has greatly changed. The Demon King used to think of the swordsman
with great disdain, while the swordsman enjoyed irritating him in many
different ways. Now, they were both good comrades, willing to support each
other, through thick, through thin, through everything...

Everything.

"I'm guessing this isn't the first time." Arawn said.

"Yep." Arthur nodded. "Too many things to think about."

"Heh." Arawn remarked. "I can relate."

"Really?" Arthur blinked. "Like what?"

Arawn shook a dismissive hand. "Things from the past and things from the
present. And you?"

"Things from the past and things from the present." Arthur smirked. The Demon
King only chuckled. They didn't speak after that and decided to watch the
stars together. Arawn smirked this time and looked at the swordsman next to
him.

"And I guess you do this too when you can't sleep?"

"Mhm."

"I understand." Arawn nodded, and looked up again. "Beautiful."

Arthur looked back at Arawn. His face glowed in delight, and his dark eyes
seemed to sparkle. Possibly the stars' reflection, Arthur thought.

"Yeah." the swordsman said, answering his question.

His reply meant to be ambiguous.

Arawn noticed that Arthur wasn't looking at the stars anymore, but at him. He
couldn't understand him at all. Arthur just always seemed to surprise him one
way or another. The Demon King tried reading the blond's face, but couldn't
make out anything. But once he glanced at his bright blue eyes, he couldn't
turn away.

Their gazes were locked, and time seemed to stop. The rest of the world
blurred, and all they could see was each other.

They knew it was wrong... There were other people there but... There was just
this thing... This thing growing between them... A feeling? An attraction?

Should they pursue it? Experiment? Or should they back off? Now or never?
They didn't really know, but they couldn't turn away now. It's already too
late. There's only one way but to move forward... Move forward.

Their lips met, and there was a thrill. Like electricity. Brief, simple,
innocent...

They broke it off already, realizing what had happened. They did not know
what to say or do... The deed has been done.

"Goodnight, Arthur." Arawn said. Arthur nodded, a bit disappointed.

"Goodnight, Arawn."

But the Demon King didn't move but stayed with the swordsman. Arthur smiled,
falling back to lie down on the grass next to Arawn.

Royal Apology

Hello! You may have been wondering why I haven't replied to comment/s in this site. However, our internet provider - PHILCOM DSL, just had to have one of their towers broken... Arghhh!!! And this is the time they chose to resume our connection.

However, that is forgiven and forgotten. Hopefully, that won't be happening frequently that I will be forced to change ISP.

Anyway, I will resume normal updating once I can collect my thoughts... Please tune in for my entry on the pairing Lidia X Octavia. They so belong together... Obsession and Hidden Feelings, The Hunter (Lidia) and the Hunted (Octavia) how fitting that one is a lowly Soldier and the other is a commander of one of the strongest military division of the Holy Empire.

This YinYang Pairing will be one of the highlights of the site and hopefully, most fanfiction writers will agree with my points in this pairing.

Episode 11: Requiem | An Episode Summary For Tears to Tiara

Octavia and her students- Conur and Elyr where reviewing their past lessons, and what lessons they still have to take... Then while they are in the middle of their class discussion, Morgan came along, commenting on how alike Elyr and Octavia are. This seemed to have affected her as Octavia sported a blush for a short duration.

They continued their cheerful conversation when Morgan told them that she has a feeling that someone's watching them. Octavia decided that they start their training as she seems to have sensed nothing at all.

However, the cheerful archer's suspicions were right because a few distance from them, outside the walls of Avalon were Imperial spies stationed and undetected by the Gaels as the spies make note of their every moment.

Episode 11: Requeim

Back in a small Imperial encampment, just a few distance away from Avalon, Lidia was watching her men train, dissatisfaction and disappointment at their performance clearly evident on her face. As she watched them, she slowly walked towards a pair of sparring soldiers and grabbed one, attacking him as swiftly as possible. Angered at his under-developed reflexes, she merely lectured him with a, "a soldier must not have any leeway".

The soldier was spared from her wrath when a soldier announced that the scouts she sent has already arrived. In a small room, they reported what they have witnessed and revealed a stronghold which Lidia confirmed as the barbarian's hideout.

Their reports further states of a blonde-haired girl that clearly is an imperial soldier. Upon hearing this, her interest perked up, ordering them at once to "muster the troops" while she reminisces about the past and how Octavia walked away from her deeming the deed "unforgivable, humiliating and dishonorable" making hatred once again consumed her.

Meanwhile, the Gaels were having a short meeting, with Ogam warning them of suspicious Imperial activity within the borders of Albion and suspicious individuals spotted around Avalon. When their meeting was over, the group decided to take a break and eat their much awaited meal.

At the course of their dinner, they noticed that Octavia is missing and it was revealed that she has some business to take care of. This is when Arthur has started to have doubts and told Arawn that he needs to speak with him in private.

Once there is only three of them- Arthur, Arawn and Ogam, Arthur voiced out his opinion and told them that perhaps Octavia has a connection with the Army after all... While the men processed it, Morgan was quick to barge into the scene and deny the accusations, telling them that it couldn't be.

When Arawn confirmed that someone is starting to have doubts (referring to Arthur), Morgan was quick to defend her comrade saying she'll just have to erase their doubts and went ahead to the forest to look for her new friend.

However, disappointed clawed at her when she saw Octavia with two ruprom soldiers. And she decided to confront her... But instead, Octavia lied to her saying she had "sword practice". This tore apart Morgan, destroying the image with which held the perfection of friendship, the trust and the order.

In the next morning, Morgan is still undecided, trying to act cheerful, however it is apparent that something is troubling her. The others did not comment on it however.

Morgan was confused and she reached a tree, there she found Octavia with her soon-to-be apprentices and Elyr and Conur was clearly excited that they are going to pick some fruit and mushroom outside the city.

Suspicion consumed Morgan and charged at her friend. Octavia merely apologized and told her "I wasn't considerate enough."

They parted, not knowing that Arawn and Ogam were just nearby.

Meanwhile, her apprentices apologize to her for getting her into trouble, which she dismissed as nothing. Intead of getting angry, she merely forgave them and told them that it's okay and made them promise that they will never get out of the city.

Meanwhile, Limwris knocked and was admitted inside a room where the rest of the Gaelic leaders were resting. Ermin told them that she can no longer hear the insects singing. After telling them the direction where it's silent, Arawn thanked her and told her that he'll let her hear the music again in a few days.

After that, he told Ogam to prepare the rest of the warriors.

Meanwhile, Elyr and Conur were out of the city, breaking their promise just to find that mushroom they so desire to give to their new mentor. However, Elyr was caught by a ruprom soldier. Conur ran and sought help from Octavia.

Octavia seemed to remember the deal she had with the ruprom "lead us into the city or misfortune will befall to the people around you" and decided to go with the boy.

However, her way was blocked by Morgan, aiming an arrow at her. Morgan then started to lecture her and asked her if they really are friends or not. However, in the end, Morgan relented telling her that she trusted her in the past, she will definitely trust her until the end.

Octavia was taken aback but resumed her course, leaving Morgan behind. As she arrived at the meeting place, she met Lidia, who immediately told her of her dreams, their past lives and then until she reached their duel. She interrogated Octavia, asking her to explain her actions in their past duels. Octavia explained, but before coming deep into her reason, her "It's not like that" was interrupted when Morgan appeared, killed the soldier holding down Elyr, grabbed the girl and dropped her at Octavia's side.

The other soldier tried to take action but Lidia stopped him, still desperate to know Octavia's reason. Octavia ignored Lidia's inquisition and instead, told the kid to find help.

However, she found it unnecessary as the vast number of Gaelic warrior has surrounded the spot, with Arthur saying "we should help our comrades" and telling Lidia "we have scores to settle".

Lidia commanded "Total Annihilation" and this time, the tables are turned. Arthur carefully coordinated the Gaelic's movement while Lidia was too engrossed with Octavia that she has forgotten to organize the ruprom, leaving them vulnerable and easily subdued.

Octavia and Lidia had their duel, with Lidia still blaming Octavia and how humiliating it is of her that Octavia did not dealt the final blow.

However, Lidia was surprised when Octavia declared that she have forgiven her... Demanding an explanation, Lidia got a simple "It was you who hesitated. Shouldn't I be the one who was to be angry?"

Unable to accept the truth, Lidia charged, and Octavia retaliated. But history seems to repeat itself, and Lidia breathe her last when Octavia confirmed that they indeed were the perfect warrior.

The aftermath of their duel is touching, and here, the strong aspect of shoujo-ai (girl love / yuri) is expressed where Octavia mourned for Lidia.

On the spot, she told Lidia how she totally liked her...

"After I left, I realized... how I like you.... a lot. And I know that you like me, too..." (paraphrased from the subtitle)

Octavia's anguished cries echoed throughout as silence reigned... as if an homage to a great warrior who has just died in the most wonderful places- in the arms of their most beloved...

Royal Announcement: Episode Update Frequency

I am excited to these new episodes. However, do note that I am watching the replays a week after the original airing intended by animax. Since animax shows the latest episodes on sunday at 12 midnight, I only watch it on Saturday 12 noon (replay) which is a bit late. However, I am doing my best to stay updated, and to deliver the freshest content.

Therefore, I am now dedicating myself and is making a promise to update every Saturday or Sunday... That way, we will have a definite time in which to check (in case you like my site) back at a fixed time, since I know that most of you are not using a feed reader...

Anyway, in this sense, I am intending to give the most complete, and accurate summary so I am apologizing just in case you have not yet watched it and hate spoilers... But my episode summaries are just like that- spoilers. So if you haven't watched it, and want to save the excitement for yourself, then I don't recommend reading the episode summaries.

But if you are willing, you can always read it.

Octavia and Arthur - A Probable pairing in the anime ; an analysis | Brought by Tears to Tiara Central

Greetings! Do you remember, how I always harp about the pairing - "Arawn and Arthur", well, my friend, Eris, told me that the pairing Octavia and Arthur is her all-time favorite. I disagreed at first. But when I see Episode 9-10, I was changed... Yep! I now support this pairing. Not as much as Arawn X Arthur but still, it has a place in my heart.

The time has been rather good so I may be hunting for fan arts of them soon, edit them in GIMP and produce the pic as a tribute to them.

Here's my take on the probability of their pairings.

All relationships are based on trust, friendship and Mutual Understanding. First, Arthur and Octavia's relationship is a bit rocky, and Arthur is not willing to accept her.

However, as the scenes progressed, Arthur saw Octavia in a new light, and then, respect grew. From this moment, I cannot say that their relationship is at the same level as with Arawn and Arthur since Arthur is still suspicious of her motives, however, he considers her as a comrade, a friend and an ally- and that is enough.

Episode 10: The Honourable Warrior | An Episode Summary for Tears to Tiara

The world is beautiful, peaceful and harmonious. Octavia looked at a younger version of herself, sparring with her older brother. All was well, but all of a sudden, the sky turned red, the deafening footsteps of the Imperial soldiers rang as they marched under the red flag of Ruprom. There, she found her brother lying on the ground- lifeless and unmoving.

Her younger version grieved and took her brother's sword.

With a jolt, Octavia woke up from the nightmarish world, finding herself in a room where she was greeted by Riannon.

Octavia asked for her sword which Riannon gladly gave her. A few children took a peek at the both of them but were scared and run off when Octavia glanced at them. Riannon merely told her that these children wanted to be her friends.

The other replied that she sadly can't since she's an Imperial soldier, forever to be viewed as an enemy and a threat. Riannon told her that as far as she knows, Avalon is a sanctuary - a place of hope.

Octavia commented that it has been a long time since she had heard that word (referring to "HOPE") but Riannon merely gave her a shy smile.

Episode 10: The Honourable Warrior

Arthur was calling for Arawn, wanting to tell him something. When he found their "elder" he immediately told Arawn about Octavia, initiating a conversation, or more like a demand to send her away. Arawn argued back, saying that he is just like the others and the two had an argument. The elder, probably fed up with the argument ended it with a "That's an elder's order". Arthur walked out, annoyed and angered.

Meanwhile, Octavia is wandering around Avalon, admiring the peaceful sceneries around. While doing so, she overheard a conversation between Morgan and Rathty concerning an item called "The Red Branch". She turned her view away and continued walking. There, she spotted Arthur venting out his anger with his sword, swinging it ungracefully through the wind. It lacks focus, and driven with anger instead of a warrior's soul.

Before commenting any words, Rathty came to her and introduced herself (note, I have just realized that Rathty is actually a girl, thanks to my best friend known as "Eris" also, for her, I will be putting up more entries about a new pairing she truly likes. Stay tune for that). Rathty told her that she'll be her tour guide.

Along the course of their conversation, Octavia focused her attention on Arthur and said "It is rough". Of course, being just a few distance from their location, Arthur heard her, and his hatred was renewed. Arthur stopped swinging his sword and told Octavia to draw her sword, challenging her to a duel. But as she was just about to attack, Riannon came and stopped them.

Octavia merely walked away, being closely followed by Riannon. While Riannon said something to Octavia, Morgan came and hugged her "icon of idolization" which of course surprised Octavia. This sent them both to the ground. Morgan apologized and offered to help Octavia stand up. However, she protested. But this didn't deterred the other and Riannon joined in, offering friendship and acquaintanship to the new addition to their city.

Later that day, Octavia could be seen talking to a few children- the two who were following her earlier. She told the two that she could teach them how to weild a sword since the two seems to be highly interested in her "skills" and have looked up to her.

The two were very happy, and introduced themselves as Conur and Elir, officially recognising Octavia as their "sensei".

Later that night, Arthur was practising with his sword. While Riannon brought some snacks, they talked for a bit and finally, when Riannon was about to leave, Arthur asked her sister of what her opinion about Octavia (or in this case, he referred to her as "that person") is.

Riannon merely replied with "pure and simple" letting silence reigned over the night.

Morning soon came and they went to their storehouse, with Arawn declaring that they need to sort it out. With the number of the crates from their recent infiltration mission, Morgan complained saying they could never do such a hard task.

This time, Arawn suggested a new alternative. He told them, after a few seconds of thinking that an Imperial soldier should be able to know which crate contains a certain contents. The others agreed, and there, they pointed out that they could use some help from Octavia.

Arawn, decided that Arthur should go fetch her for some unknown reason. Unwillingly, Arthur complied, muttering to himself as he walked on. Arthur found Octavia teaching the kids. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to learn anymore lessons (aside from the nature of swords and how to properly weild it) because Rathty dashed out to him and "begged him to avoid trouble and not fighting Octavia."

Arthur assured her that it is not his intent. He called Octavia and they walked together. During their walk, Octavia's past experiences were revelaed (though only a part of it). Through this, Arthur's opinions about her changed. But one thing is certain, Arthur agreed with her on only one thing "swords don't lie".

When they arrived at the storehouse, Octavia opened a crate with jewelries and treasures inside it. This is very important and she told that it is a box of offerings. Morgan rushed out, seeing a red item and immediately picked it up saying that it's definitely alike to the one she's looking for. However, when Arawn told her that it is a corral - a tree that grows at the bottom of the sea, she was disappointed and went away with a head bowed down.

She made it to the shores, still sulking and thinking over it. However, she noticed her idol coming to her and told her that the red branch must be a corral. Looking up at Octavia, the Imperial soldier asked her if she "had a terrible/fatal disease on her childhood".

She asked why would it matter but still, she managed to remember that indeed, she has been sick. Also, Octavia informed her that the red branch could be used as a medicine when powedered. The color changes to white as opposed to red. Morgan felt tears falling from her eyes, knowing that her grandfather had valued her more than his reputation and instead of keeping the red branch, he sacrificed it to save his daughter.

The scene shifted during the night with Arthur thanking Octavia for her efforts but this doesn't mean that he already accepted her yet. While everyone was surprised, Octavia doesn't seem to be at the very least affected for she know what it is that Arthur wanted- they have to fight with their sword, after all, swords don't lie.

The next morning, their duel soon started and upon its completion, Arthur finally came to his acceptance and right there, Octavia made her speech, telling them she no longer is a soldier of the Empire but she decided to share their goals and be with them.

Episode 9: Assault | A Tears to Tiara Episode - by reychop

In an Imperial camp, a figure could be seen opening a crate revealing a tied up Octavia. By this moment, Lidia chose to reveal herself to Octavia, scolding her and telling her how she hated Octavia. Unable to speak or even reply, Octavia merely stared at her. This caused Lidia to go even more angry, telling Octavia of the time how the girl easily defeated the current Ruprom commander. As Lidia told Octavia about the past, the scene shifted with Rathty tunneling, leading the others to what he told them as the "enemy's base".

The others seems to be pleased with this "sneak" attack as Arthur himself trembles with excitement, vowing revenge and regaining the honor he has lost in the previous battle.

Episode 9: Assault

Rathty has finished tunneling and when they came back to the surface, to their dismay they were just a few inches far from the gates - so much for a surprise attack.

Rathty apologized for his calculations but despite for that, the Gaelic warriors seems to be determined to continue the current mission and they decided to take on a new plan.

Meanwhile, Lidia was livid, filled with bitterness at her humiliation, she was filled with hatred, still oblivious to the rebel's infiltration of her base.

Back at the rebels, the Gaelics has successfully sneaked in, getting past the guards and Arawn signaled for the plan's execution.

The scene shifted once more to Lidia, who took her anger out on Octavia telling her how eager is she to kill her old rival, however, she couldn't because the Empire will not allow it. Her dismay was however lifted when she started to smile, closing the crate where Octavia was in.

While the rebels are raiding the warehouses, Ogam called Arawn and showed him something- corpses. Their investigation went further, and Arawn found himself in an old warehouse when he noticed a crate. Upon opening it however, he was surprised to see "the swords-lady" of the Empire whom they fought back and whom they witnessed duel against Bubulcus.

As soon as he was about to decide what he should do, Arthur appears so Arawn quickly closed the crate so that his best friend could not see its contents.

Arthur tried to push his luck into opening it as he was filled with curiosity, however, Arawn asked him instead of what is the Gaelic customs when they caught an enemy soldier. When Arthur answered, "Behead him", Arawn blocked the crate with his body and tried to lead the conversation away.

However, Arthur wouldn't let up so he tried to open the crate. However, a few Gaelic warriors arrived telling them that the enemy is in their line of sight.

A Battle ensued but the rest of the Gaelic warriors escaped while Arawn and Arthur decided to divert the attention of the pursuing Imperial soldiers by setting the fire alight with a torch.

Just then, Lidia who were mounting her house noticed her base in fire and rushed to the scene. There she confronted a fleeing Arawn and Arthur and after a parting words, they left her to lament for her loses.

While the Gaelic soldiers examined their goods, they were astonished to find an empty crate... While none of them seems to noticed, Arawn saw a disappearing figure- Octavia vanishing in the shadows.

Meanwhile, Ogam confronted Arawn and told him how strange it would be for the Empire to keep corpses as it is customary to cremate them, Arawn was baffled and none spoke a word.

Back in the ruins of the Imperial base, Lidia grieved but not for a moment. When she saw the crate holding Octavia was missing, she burst into laughter.

Meanwhile, Arawn came to their store room and saw Octavia. The girl drew her sword but Arawn has no intention of fighting her. But his mind was changed however when Octavia charged at him.

When Arawn stopped the duel, he told Octavia how stupid it is of her to risk her life. He continued to reprimand her and then Octavia finally realized that the one she is facing is the demon king. Before anyone could reply, Octavia collapsed and Arawn rushed to her aid.

Tears To Tiara Episodes | Episode 8: Ruprom - And the plot thickens

The anime opens with Lord Gaius returning back to the Imperial islands and met up with the senate. He reported that he had successfully delivered the urn that has Drwc's body. The Senate told Gaius that they need not worry about the rebels since they are confident that Gaius can handle them

While Gaius seems pleased with the praise, he told them that "this is not the time to be complacent" and they must be able to make their decisions as fast as they can. As Gaius left the room, they called for someone called "Delator" and told him to find the whereabouts of the demon king.

Meanwhile, Gaius met up with a girl, who was known to have affiliation with ruprom. She told Gaius that she would gladly destroy the rebels. The man granted her the permission.

Episode 8: Ruprom

The episode formally opens with Epona destroying a cliff and letting the stone roll towards a construction site which the workers received and added into their constructed building. As Riannon and the others arrived, Arthur called for a break while they gathered around to plan for actions about the report of sighitngs of the Imperial Army.

Meanwhile, the Ruprom, boarding their ship was seen changing their direction to the West Coast.

Back in Avalon, Arawn found Limwris and Ermin sleeping. While Limwris waken up, Ermin remained sleeping. Blushing, Limwris entertained Arawn with the book Ermin created to spread the events that took place before and after Arawn's resurrection.

This time, the names of their swords were revealed:

Etlym - The red sword that Arawn is currently weilding.

Dyrnwyn- The black sword which was weilded by Pwyll.

After reading the comic to Arawn, the demon king told her that they should get back to the others.

Meanwhile, a scout has seen the group of Imperial Army (the Ruprom)'s ship heading their way and they called for a meeting. When Arthur decided that they should just ambush them, t,hey quickly made their way and set up the traps.

However, the traps did not work as the Ruprom's leader quickly found it and avoided the string that will trigger the traps. Realizing that it was a failure, Arawn and Arthur came in front of the soldiers and introduced themselves.

As the introduction took place, it was revealed that the leader is named Lidia and is the commander of the militant wing herself. She told them that she was to carry out her missions and intend to correct the uprising barbarians.

Provoked, Arthur charged at her without thinking, ruining their plan and causing the Gaels to attack with no coordination and organization.

As the war progresses, it is apparent that the Gaels are losing. So Arawn called for Ogam and while the sorcerer created a barrier for them, the demon king ordered a retreat. Lidia and her men did not pursue them, however.

Back in their city, Arthur saw the wounded army, and after seeing his sister tired from all the healing, he finally snapped, apologized to everyone, told them it is his fault and blamed himself.

Totally fed up from his whining, Arawn punched him, telling him that there is no "I" in the "I" tribe. And since they were "bullied" they should make it even. Arawn's punch and his speech seemed to lift up Arthur's spirit and this time, filled with determination, he intend to make the tribe even more stronger.

Meanwhile, in an Imperial patrol camp not far away, news of the Ruprom's attack reached Octavia. And as she exited her room, she found a section with the lights still on. Curious, she went inside only to be greeted with a strong smell. She traced the smell to a crate and found out its contents. Before identifying the contents for us, she was immediately knocked unconscious.

Note: The scene with Arawn and Arthur is extremely important for me. It is a developing romance. Can you not notice it? Arawn seems to be the only one to life up Arthur's spirit and give him insight. And that for me, is an important attribute of a true partner. What do you think?

Tears To Tiara Episode 7: Colosseum | An Episode SUmmary for Tears to Tiara

The scene opened up with the Gael warriors training. Knowing that war is inevitable, they toughened up their defenses and intensified their training. As Arthur described, it is a Festina Lente where Arawn translated as "going slowly".

The scene shifted to the kitchen room where Morgan complained about the tough training but low morale. As she talked to Limwris, Riannon and the others showed up, closely followed by a depressed Llyr as she complained how she seemed to work hard yet with no progress at all. As Morgan comforted her, the opening theme played up.

After the theme, the scene revealed Morgan talking to Arthur and suggesting that they join a gladiator fight. While Arthur seemed to agree and even excited himself to join, Arawn cut their joy and told them that they will not go in a land filled with people and soldiers from the Empire which could endanger them.

To persuade Arawn, Morgan told him about the Red Branch. While she wanted to explain more about that and her reason for her search, Ogam interrupted them and told Arawn that it might be a good experience in learning about what the Empire could do, what are their strengths and weaknesses. Arawn could do nothing but to agree.

Once they returned to Londinium, where the fight was supposed to take place, Morgan immediately found Epona selling souvenirs for the fight. She told Epona that she is searching for something red, round and shiny. As Epona seemed to be confused as to what she is referring to, Morgan tried to explain it to her without giving away the red branch but Arawn already dragged his second wife and told her that they have to go or they'll miss the fight.

As they went on, the first fight involve a huge monster with a tiny boy whom was later identified as an elf or more specifically, a mine elf. Aided by his strength and power, the mine elf won the fight. But as he advanced to the next levels, mayor Creon ordered his soldiers to seize him as they told him that no kid was allowed in the fight therefore, she is disqualified. As the soldiers surrounded him, he managed to escape by creating a diversion and burrowing underground.

What he did not realized is that the end of his tunnel is where Arawn's group was waiting for him. Arawn interrogated him and confirmed if he is indeed a mine elf. Once that's confirmed, Arawn asked him if they could borrow his strength and help them create weapons. However, the elf refused, telling him that his father told the elf that everyone wearing black is never up to any good. The elf also told Arawn that the look on his face isn't very appealing either.

Meanwhile, back in the Colosseum, the Mayor announced a "special fight", introducing the participant as being Bubulcus and Octavia, both coming from the 3rd Laposka Army of the 1st border patrol.

Before the fight, Bubulcus told Octavia that he will teach her a lesson for disobeying her superiors while Octavia retorted that he is merely a disgrace to the Imperial Army. This is enough to start the fight. While Bubulcus attacked the swordsman with rage telling her that the winner is the True Imperial Soldier, Octavia merely avoided his attacks with swiftness and agility. Once she found an opening, she kicked the man, effectively halting his attack.

Nevertheless, Bubulcus has no intention of giving up. He is nearly losing and in his desperation, he called for soldiers and even though it is a duel, the judge- Mayor Creon did not stop the blatant display of cheating and dishonor combat.

In his rage, Arthur tried to interfere, but he was held back by Arawn, telling him that the consequences outweighs the possible benefits. Arthur talked Arawn out of it but Arawn's decision is firm. However, Ogam interfered their antics by telling them that it's already too late, anyway because Morgan had already jumped into the arena and taking out her cloak while preparing her bow and arrows.

Arawn relented and murmured to himself "I forgot we have other idiots around" and settled himself to watch the event. Morgan helped Octavia attack the soldiers which were easily defeated, leaving Bubulcus defenseless. The man was about to attack Morgan when Octavia slashed his abdomen, preventing him from fighting any more.

Octavia told Bubulcus that the battle is already decided but the man will not let down his pride telling them that he could not face himself in the army. But of course, being the cowardly weakling that he is, Octavia merely placed her sword above his head and that was enough to cause him to collapse.

Once the battle's over, the crowd cheered and Morgan praised her. The two introduced each other. But of course, knowing Morgan, she slipped their identity with "Your names from the Empire is really not familiar for us Gaels". But thankfully, Octavia agreed that she will just pretend that she heard nothing.

After that, Morgan and the others made their way back to Avalon. But of course, they made a new friend. The mine elf has followed them and asked Ogam if he knew about the rumor of Lord Arawn's resurrection. When the truth was revealed, the mine Elf prostrated himself in front of the Demon king and introduced himself as "Rathty" asking for forgiveness. Arawn agreed and asked him to help them make weapons and this time, the elf agreed talking more about metal trinkets and kitchenwares much to Arawn's annoyance.

Meanwhile, the Imperial soldiers are on the move, once again- a storm is nearing and the preview presents a lot of actions. Next Episode : Ruprom

Tears To Tiara Episode 6: The Merciless Valley | And Episode Summary for Tears to Tiara

The Gaelic tribe found themselves staring at one of the most magnificent creature they ever laid eyes on. Mysterious, beautiful and shy, the said creature emerged from the sea. To everyone's shock, she suddenly prostrated in front of Arawn congratulating him for his revival and offering herself to serve him.

While this was going on, Arthur asked the creature her name and introduced herself as Llyr. After this event, the tribe continued their hunting. While the others were hunting, Arawn found a seal by the shores. As he attempted to touch it, he found it that it was only a skin. As he carried the skin, not knowing what to do with it, he found Riannon struggling to light up a slightly damp firewood.

Wanting to help his wife, he gave the skin to Riannon and told her to burn it with the woods since the fat in the skin is flammable allowing the wood to easily burn. After this, the group was already done with its hunting and they ate their fill. The tribe was about to return back to the city to take a rest, Riannon found Llyr frantically looking for something. The others noticed her distraught and questioned her about it.

She told them that her "precious gown" was missing. She told them that without it, she could never return back to her land. Morgan declared that they'll help her find her gown. As the others agree, she described her gown as something that's "a skin of a seal that is big enough to cover the entire body."

Once Arawn and Riannon heard it, Ogam noticed that Arawn has something to do with it. After a few awkward moments, Arawn finally confessed that Riannon and he burned it, realizing that the skin he found earlier was indeed the gown that Llyr is referring to. Arawn deeply apologizes while Riannon declared "that she should never had complained about the wood." However, they need not worried as Llyr cheerfully declared that she had decided that she would stayed with Arawn and serve him forever.

Ogam commented that this calls for a celebration. As Arawn questioned him about his comment, Ogam declared that it is customary for the elves of Llyr's tribe to marry the man who took their "gown". And since Arawn burned it, he must take responsibility.

The day flew by with the house elves and Riannon helping Llyr to get used to the usual chores such as doing the laundry and milking the cow to which the new elf failed miserably. While they were comforting her for her "unlucky" fate, the scene shifted to a few Imperial troops in the forest near Avalon.

The troops were led by someone known as Lord Bubulcus- a cowardly yet manipulative and greedy man who seek only to glorify himself. He called on to his servant named Octavia and ordered her to deploy the troops. Yet she disagrees stating that to do so would be disobeying their direct orders to patrol the region only.

But Bulbucus disregarded her and ordered the troops to move on while telling her that "she should improvise and adapt or else she would never be promoted". They moved on, not knowing that the Gaelics already prepared a trap for them.

As they marched into the place where the Gales were hiding, Arthur gave the signal and they activated the trap. As they did so, the small group were easily defeated and Octavia had to order a retreat to save themselves. But Bulbucus would not allow it. He changed his mind later when an arrow nearly hit him. As they retreated to the rope bridge, Bulbucus tried to destroy the rope bridge in order to prevent the Gaelics from going after him not minding at all that his men will also fall if he did it. Once the bridge is destroyed, he left the scene.

Luckily for the Gaelics, none of them fell. Well, at least Arthur nearly fell but Arawn managed to save him. (And now allow me to take this moment to scream "Yaoi!") Putting that aside, Octavia is now back at the camp, being reprimanded by her superior for disobeying him. Once Bulbucus left her with a threat, she held her sword and murmured "Brother, I will keep my principles, no matter where I am".

Back at the Gaelics, they were currently celebrating and resting to recover from the previous battle. Arthur and Arawn were together at a cliff. Witnessing Bulbucus' deed earlier shook him. And right there, he uttered to himself that he would definitely trust his partners since he valued them and would do everything to protect them.

Arawn could only smile in approval.

Tears to Tiara Yaoi Pairing- Arawn Love Arthur (AraThur) | Pairing Possiblity | In Depth Analysis and Exploration Part 1

Alright, since episode 5 I have been seeing more and more probable yaoi relationships in the anime thus I decided to create more categories to divide the ideas and explanation. For now, I will focus my attention to AraThur (Arawn X Arthur).

Entry 1:

In this entry, we will be basing our analysis to the ever popular "Opposites Attract" that has survived as one of the main reason for non-canon yaoi pairings to survive in the yaoi community. And of course, it is also one of the main basis that each and every yaoi fan can easily spot a potential yaoi pairing.

Let's start by analyzing their characters.

Arawn-> Arawn is a demon king. This alone gave him his air of arrogance, seeing mortals as nothing compared to him. But with this arrogance comes his intelligence, calculating mind and his quiet and calm demeanor. His confidence is also evident and undeniable as well as his strength and magical capabilities. He holds little contempt for others, except to his wives, Arthur and Ogam. And in my opinion, he respects Arthur greatly, this is enough to establish what we call "strong bond".

Arthur-> Arthur is an influencial figure in the Gaelic tribe. Before Riannon married Arawn, Arthur is the acting Elder- leading the hunting, making decisions, etc. He is rather carefree, stubborn and tend to act without thinking. He is laid-back and easily provoked as well as possessing a sensitive character when it comes to his emotions. He easily get along well with others and sometimes even provide entertainment. He seems to hate Arawn at first but grows to respect him as they travel and proceeded to migrate to Avalon.

The analysis is not that deep (since the anime has just started) but I can say they are accurate to a degree. Considering that we are to base our assumptions by this presentation, we can safely assume that they are opposite yet the same. How is this possible? If we are to use symbolism, Arawn is the moon and Arthur is the sun. The moon is quiet and the sun is loud. Yet it is the moon that guides the sun. This little symbolism dictates that they have similarities and differences.

Arthur is carefree and "acts without thinking" while Arawn is quiet and calculating. But instead of the usual, it is Arawn that guides him, unlike other yaoi pairing where the loud one guides the quiet one to do something. In this sense, they are balanced and compliment each other in a way that if their souls are united, and then separated, they take a piece of their soul with them rendering them incomplete forever until they are reunited once again.

AraThur is starting to grow in me. And hopefully, I will be able to write a fanfiction about them as time goes by. Hopefully this short entry has planted some seeds into your heart. Should you want to point out mistakes, feel free to comment and post your own "reasoning." Have a nice day ^_^

Tears to Tiara Episode 5: Londinium | Hmm, as this goes on, I'm beginning to see hints for shonen-ai or yaoi

Everyone is settled and has just gotten used to their new home- Avalon. Peace reigned and life proceeded in its normal course, well as normal as it could get. After a short scene in a kitchen Arthur found Ogam and Arawn talking about their defenses and accused them of "idling". This resulted in him telling them to go hunting.

Arawn could do nothing since it's already established that the Elder must lead every hunt since it is his duty to "feed" his people. While they were hunting, Arthur noted how quiet the place is, and after a few check-up, he found a trap. This lead him to believe that the hunting ground is alread claimed by other tribes thus pushing them to find their own.

Just as they were done hunting and are now enjoying their delicious 'hotpot', an intoxicated Morgan challenged Arthur for a duel to claim the title "Greatest Warrior". And of course, as an Elder, Arawn granted them permission. After a few funny moments, the laughter of the amused men were interrupted when they heard a "harp" playing. And as if an answer, a bard came in, introducing himself as Talieshin - A new character, who then offered to 'entertain' the group for a few fruits.

Once he's done playing, he asked them if they are the "Gael Tribe" arising suspicion among the men, leading them to accuse him as a spy from the Empire. But having no evidence, they let him go where he thanked them and told them "He'd definitely play for them again soon." Before he left, he told them that the ground where they were currently standing on is a part of a brigand band, to which no one commented to.

The next day, they had a short meeting and thus the city of Londinium was given its introduction. Having been described as "The Largest Commercial Place for the Empire", the group had a sudden interest to "pay it a visit".

While in the place, they found a few soldiers preparing resources for the Empire. Thus, they planned to sieze it and take it for themselves. They executed their plan once it's night time and ambushed the convoy.

Happy with their achievement, the Gael warrior went on their way, only to be interrupted by an assassin sent by Gaius. Once they captured the said "assassin", he was able to confess that he was sent by Gaius. Before more questions can be asked, he immediately took off.

The confession caused them to find out about the trap by discovering that instead of weapons and resources, the boxes that they siezed were filled with sand. The notion of being tricked angered Arthur. Blinded by rage, he decided to attack the Empire but was stopped by Arawn. They could do nothing but to return to their city and take a rest.

That night, Arthur vented his anger by swinging his sword and practicing his swordsmanship skill unaware that Arawn has been watching him. If it weren't for the fact that they're best friend, I would deem this a 'good romantic shonen-ai' -grins-.

Anyway, for some reason, Arawn slept on that spot where he watched Arthur (could he be admiring his friend for too long? XD). On the morning, he was awoken by Arthur informing him of their "daily hunting". Once they were on the shores, Morgan blew the crab flute in hopes of huge crabs to harvest. But instead, an unknown woman emerged from the sea- a woman they never saw before.

Tears to Tiara Yaoi Pairings and Possibilities | Is it possible that Arthur and Lord Arawn can establish a canon relationship, or cultivate love?

I have been engrossed with the anime "Tears to Tiara". It is based off from role playing games. But unlike most rpg's, I can't find any good romance. Because as it was designed for fight, combat, mythology and magic, no one would expect romance in an rpg, let alone a yaoi or shonen-ai pairing. Though it is still too early to make any assumptions, I can say that I totally support ArthurXArawn pairing should it start to popularize whether it's canon or not. Fanfic writers! Here's an interesting fact, throw Lord Gaius in for an interesting love triangle. Trust me, it's fun, don't turn down an idea just because you don't like it.

Here's my line of reasoning. After his resurrection Arawn, was never romantically attached to Riannon. He helped her because he was "tired of tragedies" and he didn't want to help Drwc, at least, that's what I thought. Also, he never expressed anything, and never left a single clue that he 'liked' Riannon' or 'Morgan'- his two wives at the moment. Therefore, it is probable for him to harbor some kind of feelings for Arthur. Remember SasuNaru? Remember the steps for it? First, friendship, then rivalry, then they are bestfriends and then they treat each other like brothers.

Sure it might be a huge blow since Arthur himself pleaded Arawn to give his sister happiness, but I can't see that happening. He had already established some sort of rivalry with Arawn even before the demon king took his place as the tribe's Elder. Arawn himself took interest with Arthur. Though it's definitely not a canon one, because there's no way it would happen due to the nature of the story, but I'm sure the idea would survive in the fandom.

Alright, here's an explanation for Gaius' inclusion. I think that his interest in Arawn can be cultivated into something. Though they only met once, remember that Gaius showed obsession with Arawn regardless if the prophecies are true or not. I could picture the whole things this way- Arawn seducing Arthur, Arthur's refusal, with Gaius' advances, Arawn will use that to his advantages, thus Arthur will be forced to admit his 'feelings'. I don't know, this is pretty much the idea that I have. If I am to write this into a fanfiction, I might write this as an AU, where the war did not took place.

Anyway, it's up to you if you think their relationship is possible or not. Do you? Reply with your comments and explanations! ^_^

Why Did I Start This Blog?

Hey there! First of all, allow me to inform you of what this blog is all about. When the anime "Tears to Tiara" was advertised on animax, the one thing that caught me is about its "promises of simulcasts". So, I decided to read on what simulcast is. To my surprise, it's actually aired the same time and day as it was showed in Japan. Being a Japan culture fan, I was even more attracted when instead of dub, it is subbed! Great way to learn Japanese language!

Anyway, I started this one because when I searched online for resources, I only read about it being a game or an rpg. As I am not a fan of games (especially rpgs because I tend to lose my patience with leveling and all of that), so I decided that since there's no class, and it's becoming my new addiction, why not list the summary of each chapters? So, here it is, I'm starting this one.

Tears to Tiara | Episode 4: Avalon

They reached the island they were looking for. The first city in Albion island is called "Avalon" protected by a massive gate. It is said that only Pywll and Arawn could open it. Once it is opened, they were introduced to Limwris and Ermin, two house elves that were the ones taking care of the city.

They were introduced to many pasts, legends and history where it is revealed that Arthur is scared of phantoms because it is supposed to be the cause of his father's death, plus a white light. Putting that aside, they need to rest and hunt to keep the tribe healthy. With the help of a crab flute, they had an abundant meal and the rest were happily eating their treat.

In the middle of their merrymaking, Arawn was seen leaving the crowd, where he left to reminisce about the past. Riannon followed him, stating more about the sunset, and how Lord Myrddin gave the light or fire to humans. This is an offense against the law and he was punished. Over-all the day went fine, as secrets and subtle hints to the past were slowly revealed.

Though from the distance, Gaius and his men, boarding a ship could be seen. It looks like war shall begin sooner or later.

Tears to Tiara | Episode 3: The Beginning of a Journey

While the tribe was resting, Arawn was alone on a cliff overlooking their position. The newly-appointed Elder watched over them as he enjoyed the silence when all of a sudden an arrow was shot at him. He quickly caught the arrow and demanded the attacker to show himself.

A girl later emerged, challenging him to a duel. When she lost, she was later identified as Morgan by Arthur who assigned her to protect their ships. She reported that the ships were seized by the Empire. As a punishment, she was appointed as Arawn's second wife.

The next morning, they set out to plan their attack. After they opened the gates and cleared the coast of Imperial Guards, a commander applauded at him, demanding to know Arawn's name whom of course told him that it is only natural that the other introduce himself first. So he identified himself as Gaius, the commander of the Empire's soldiers. After that, Arawn told his companions to go to the ships.

After a few hesitations, they finally agreed and Arawn and Gaius were left for a personal talk. Gaius threw a dagger at Arawn and indeed, Arawn blocked it, releasing the dagger back to the commander. Before more information could be revealed, the ships were already leaving, and Arawn jumped to the ship where Arthur and Riannon were, leaving Gaius with an unfulfilled curiosity.

After the encounter, Ogam healed the man's wounded hand, telling him that there is an Electrum in the dagger, the said metal is the one that killed him in the past. The two talked about the past and filled in Arawn with the information that he missed.

As nighttime falls, Arawn was alone on the ship. And while everyone else is sleeping, Arthur challeged him to a duel. When he lost, he implored Arawn to give his sister happiness.

Tears to Tiara | Episode 2: People of the Vow

Arthur threatened the priest to hand over his sister back to him because according to their tribe's traditions, their bloodline cannot continue without the his sister, thus Arthur threatened to kill him if he refuse to listen to his demands. Drwc merely laughed at him, stating that he cannot kill him without harming his sister due to the connection they shared. This made Arthur feel helpless.

On the other hand, Arawn is making a connection with Riannon, and once he successfully freed her from Drwc's influence, he killed the priest. Once the body fell from the stairs, Arthur set out to go to Riannon and told her he needs to kill the demon king. But his sister refused, stating that Lord Arawn saved her, thus she could not allow him to harm her savior.

After more hesitation, Riannon finally decided that Arawn is the one she is destined to be with, thus giving him the Elder's cloth- a sign of the tribe elder's power and authority. Arthur stubbornly refused to accept but an army of the dead, awakened by a resurrection pot that was used as a part for the ritual, emerged, threatening them.

Left with no choice, Arthur decided to ally with Arawn and settle their argument for later. And indeed, they managed to get out of the tomb alive. From then on, they decided that a war is inevitable and it would surely spread once the Empire heard of Drwc's death. There, the warriors of Gael vowed to stand together and fight.

Episode 1: (I forgot the Title for this one)

The first episode started out when an army entered a village. A man, identified as Drwc decided to take Riannon as a sacrifice, as was required to resurrect the Demon King, which according to the prophecies, will bring the world to utter destruction.

At first, Riannon was reluctant to go with him but after two children were captured, she told Drwc her real name, which gave him control over her. The ritual proceed its course and while it is on going, Arthur and the rest of the tribesmen were informed about her abduction thus they organized a plan to rescue her.

When Arthur and his soldiers came into the scene, he was just in time to see the Demon King's resurrection.
